Hi I am a great fan .been watching you since day one . I would love you to visit Charlies Lake in Ashford. They have lots of cat fish .my biggest was 40lb .and know they have bigger and lots of carp At a good size .you will not be disappointed. I would recommend an over nighter . As the cat fish kick off at 11-3am and some in the day . I use a 22mm halibut, pellet does the trick. boilies for the carp all on the main lake .

Hi Graham, one of my best remembered things was going to the local corner shop to get 3 pence of butter from the tub, the shop owner would get some butter from the tub and pat it with 2 paddles into shape, he never had to add or take off any butter, he then wrapped it in greaseproof paper and you took it home. I do not know what make it was, but the taste was out of this world.

Thanks for the I.D. I put a film up a few weeks ago on birds and someone did say the Thrush is a bit of a rare species nowadays. I thought it might be a Thrush ,though I did get some clips of Redwings on the trailcams.They trip it all the time as they stay in one area flicking leaves over looking for food items.

Big thanks for sharing as always Sir. I learnt many tips regarding my quiver tip fishing, especially avoiding line tangle over the tip prior to casting which is something I can now improve on. Love the wild Cam stuff and the old Machinery at the end. Massive thanks again Sir :)
@TAFishing
@TAFishing 11 ай бұрын
When I cast a heavier feeder I tend to roll the rod blank so it is almost like side casting and then straighten before it finishes. Seems to avoid the tip ring wrap you sometimes get and it snatches short.I think its also when you have had a few bigger fish pulling drag and it puts a twist in the line.I tend to pull all the coils off the first 30 feet of the reel to get rid of line twist.

Good luck with your trip tomorrow. I was hoping to hit a river for a few hours tomorrow relaxing Perch hunting after a hectic week,but no chance. The Perch are more likely to be swimming up a flooded lane somewhere. When will the rain ever stop. I don't think I have know such a wet winter...be interesting to hear the weather experts stats on cloud and rainfall for the last 2 months.
