@ You're very unlikely to be interesting to a herd of cows unless they have calves and you have a dog on a lead.
4 жыл бұрын
@@rjk69 That's what I just said Sparky. But the most dangerous and aggressive circumstances you can see a cattle in, is a Cow who has just had her Calf took off her to be veal. They have to be separated from the herd in a field by them self until they get over it, because them mad with grief, and they will kill you. If you in a tractor, they will kill the tractor too.

How did you manage to film my childhood? Cycling the country lanes as a schoolboy, 5' Woolworths rod strapped to the frame, searching out brooks and streams for loaches, gudgeon, roach and....Holy Grail...big chub. Never quite managed to land the chub as it walzed back into the tree roots and spat the hook. Happy days.

@@TAFishing True. Odd people lol.. Anyway I miss little streams and my old fishing rods, style of fishing, roaming around fields finding little backwaters with lots of surpises in them and so on. What with huge lakes and the latest tackle etc taking over our lives now days as you well know. I think it takes little videos like this now and then to realise just how much I miss those things sometimes!

Thats really cool, In the US they don't have open foot paths through farmland, our farmers would be chasing you down with an AR15 as soon as you left your car to escort you off their property.
@David-qn9wu
@David-qn9wu 4 жыл бұрын
It is pretty cool, but it's not exactly open footpaths over here as it may seem. We have some public footpaths through farm land but some farm land has zero public access. I am not exactly sure how much choice farmers have about public footpaths on their land the local council would decide that I think. But their land is definitely not free to roam and even if there is a footpath through their land, you are not allowed to stray from the path. So if the path was in the middle or edge of a field and the river is on the other side technically you wouldn't be able to access the river without trespassing. Also farmers in the UK don't generally have AR15'S however most have 12gauge shot guns and have been known to shoot people on their land using salt in the cartridges instead of lead shot, painful but not deadly at least.

Hi Greame, if there is a lone bull in a field that is open to the public (bulls should not be left alone in a field with public right of way) give the bull a wide girth and walk as quietly as you can, and do NOT run. If you run the bull is likely to charge towards you. If you are confronted grab the nose ring and twist it. If you were to have a dog with you give the bull and in this case all cows a very wide girth. They see the dog as a threat and could attack, especially if they have calves. In this case you should let the dog go, the dog will run off and can protect it's self. if you hang on to the dog the cow could attack the dog and you. This has resulted in fatalities for dogs and the owners. Hope this helped, Lewis. PS. Brown sauce is the bacon sandwich king.
