Hi Graeme, I'm the guy who spoke to you on Wednesday morning. Unfortunately no carp for me just more bream but thanks for the hardened hookbaits they kept the crays at bay! Pleasure to meet you mate keep up the good work 👍

Love the range of fishing you do Graeme as a course fisherman for 25yrs I’ve only recently got into sea fishing so I very much welcome all your sea fishing vids as much as the freshwater. Love the channel love this guy awsome job 👏

Well-done with your channel takes me back to the 70's when you picked up new tricks off different Anglers you meet and experimenting yourself with household foods. Keep making videos teaches younguns and oldies good habits and how to have fun.

Hi Graeme, I never stop learning from your channel even if i don't do certain types of fishing. That's why i watch your stuff over and over again and indeed have some of my favourite one's saved. For me one of your best ever is Carp Rods-v Beach Rods on your Beach Fishing Series from 9th Jan 2015. That video has everything. The quality of the whole production is Top Drawer. Steve in Fife.

My problem with meat baits was once the can of spam was open I would cut it into slices and eat it with the loaf I bought for fishing very little meat entered the water. Used to end up with just the bread to fish with. Graeme again a totally awesome teach in on meat baits. Thanks as always for taking the time and trouble to post these, gets my weekend off to a great start.

But i absolutely enjoy feeder was fishing yesterday turnd my back for one second i had to go swimming fish pulled my rod in but managed to retrieve my rod and pulled in a nice 9pound carp my biggest PB yet. Im learning so much from your video you should sell them golf ball feeders id definitely buy some :). Keep up the great work fella.

Once more a great vid mate.....the trick with the rig tube on the half golf ball is very good...I used to do the same with a cylindrical closed maggot feeder in the late 80's fishing distance for big roach and bream.. superior bite detection as the feeder runs free on the line...superglue the main body of the cylinder at the bottom to the rig tube so the top slides free and up over the rig tube to fill, works great at distance and doesn't tangle as long as the hook length below the feeder is not longer than the rig tube...give it a try sometime if you ever need to fish maggot feeder at distance...tight lines mate and thanks for the content.

Meat challenge done. Now then old bean, how about getting fruity? I challenge you to catch using blackberries, bananas and strawberries. I'm planning on going chub fishing this week with hemp and blackberries. It's kind of rewarding to catch using bait from the river bank.

Graeme is a skillful angler, so it says a lot about the state of our Coarse Fishing waters in England that he has to make so many Videos dedicated to catching Carp from the margins. Targeting Silverfish on light tackle is virtually impossible on most of my local waters due to the due to huge numbers of Carp having been stocked!

A large local supermarket was selling off tins of hotdogs for 19p....I had six tins. They work a treat....Yep keep a bait tub of water and put your cut luncheon in the water. Washes some of the fat out, and helps it sink better

going back 20 yrs as a teenager i used to use hot dogs luncheon meat sweetcorn and blended bread for tench and carp always done well bit of scopex in the blended bread they loved it and cocktail on the hook normally bit of meat with a sweetcorn or sweetcorn and 2 maggots

Cool! When is TA fishing going to go to thailand to catch some of those mekong catfish?
@PenDragonsPig3 жыл бұрын
You could, if you were so inclined, fashion worms, fry, or froglings from the luncheon meat/Spam. Mrs. Wife insists hotdogs are Bologna (in US)- eat them or use them as bait just don’t think about what’s in them or how they are made.

Hi Sir, I have looked up a couple of the rods you have mentioned (nomura kanji 40-80 about 60 quid) and they seem very reasonably well priced what reels would you pair with that? (BTW i have a mitchell match reel bought for me in 1979 by my parents, only fishing kit i have left had since I stopped fishing aged 16 in 1984) sold my other rods and reels for beer tokens I have watched more than 40 hours of your output in the last 4 weeks.... since i discovered you......
@TAFishing11 ай бұрын
I don't know about reel sizes as most of my tackle is old and out of production. Depending what type of species you are after will dictate reel size/line capacity etc. Best to ask in your local tackle shop and they should be able to help you out.I only have a large Nomura spinning reel which I use beach fishing,You will probably require a smaller one if fishing freshwater.

Had a strange day yesterday. Caught two decent perch (both over a pound), one on luncheon meat and one on cheese. My mate challenged me to use a blackberry. Challenge accepted I have 3 bites on the blackberry but didn't connect. However, next time a bigger hook may do the business with one.

I say this as an avid and appreciative fan of TAF, but an investment in improving the audio situation would make a huge difference. Single-channel mono audio really degrades the quality and enjoyability of videos for a big bracket of viewers. It’s easy to see that so much effort and passion goes into making these videos, so it’s surprising that the audio gets overlooked. Anyway, cheers for the otherwise excellent videos! :)
