Had to watch my Sunday treat today, the wife's putting Strictly come dancing on the telly Yuk. So I'm a know show in the lounge, fortunately I've got two of your videos to watch, a bottle of beer and some new tackle to try put together. Going back to your Torquay video inspired me to purchase the Velcro kit for securing rods onto railings a 10 ft Shakespeare Pier rod and an incredibly high spec brand new extremely cheap reel with 2 spools. (won't mention brand name, you may not like that, but for the price I am well impressed). I love your catch and cook so lets hope the European Trawlers leave some fish for us.

It was your sea fishing 'how to' videos and 'beginners guide to' type videos which brought me to your channel a LONG time ago. It's exactly the same quality, commentary and honesty (foul ups and all) that keep me coming back again and again. Keep up the excellent 'work', inspirational and truly living up to the AWESOME name in every way possible. Fishing tomorrow now for sure! 👍 🏴

Brilliant - if you want to 'sear' a steak (or anything else...) and you haven't got butter, just put a thin spread of mayo over the steak and then sear it in the pan - search google for 'searing with mayo' I use it a lot its great! Thanks again for the video Graeme... love it!

I took a friend out a few yrs ago on his first ever trip fishing his first catch was a 2 lb pollock. He said he would take the fillets home to freeze I advised him not to freeze them and to have them for his evening meal about 2 hrs after catching the fish. The following day at work he told me that he had never had a nicer meal in his life. FRESH IS ALWAYS BEST.

Yo G, here's a totally awesome cooking idea: Mix up Sunflower Oil with seasoning: Pepper, herbs, spices. Any combo. Make at home, in a small jar with lid- take with you everywhere. Graeme, cooking with oil is safer: Higher cooking temps on far less gas. Oil is also a marinade. And it'll taste more amazing.

Dont use olive oil. It'll smoke and burn and become a bad taste.

how do you tell the difference between the wind and a fish being hooked? I know that sounds like a line of a joke but sadly not. Just the wind kicked my arse yesterday and I am not experienced enough to tell if my rod was shaking due to wind or due to fish and wondered if there was a way to tell
@rokhnroll5 жыл бұрын
One way is to touch the line and see if you can feel the vibrations of a fish on the end Its called touch ledgering and is usually used in course fishing.
