@@atl3630 aquaracers in general are nice looking and cool. I had one. I sold it when I bought my planet Ocean. I'd have kept it if it were a different colour way. My most recent purchase is a tag too. A monaco

I am a fanboy, proudly owning three watches (Heuer Autavia and Carrera, and TAG 2000 chrono with travelers time set feature). My 2000 chrono has travelled the works with me on service trips. Needless to say, it has taken a hammering with the bezel almost rounded, yet it still runs faultlessly. I love it!

This generation of Aquaracer is so much better than the latest in my opinion. I recently purchased a quartz and took so long to find a good condition one that I could reliably authenticate. So many fakes and they are nigh on indistinguishable from gen.

I have the 43mm version and love it to death - I'll never sell it. Mine runs at +3 seconds a day.

Wearing this exact watch right now. Fell in love with it the second I saw it. I can tell you that it was discontinued in 2019 and I rushed to get one when I found out. The one I bought had an issue so Tag Heuer replaced it for me - I got the second to last one in their stock. The other was apparently damaged and not sold. Safe to say any “brand new” one now will almost certainly be a fake.

I've always loved this exact 41mm Tag. But they were hard to find. About a year ago a seller had about 6 of them listed on Ebay. I had looked about everywhere before. So I picked one up at a really good price. This is an awesome watch. One of the best Tag Aquaracers in my opinion. They are going to be very difficult to find now. These have not been made since about 2-3 years ago. Good luck, but worth it if you can find one. You may find the Quartz version or the 43mm size. But the 41mm.........?

Great video. I've loved this watch for years but never picked one up. They are going for $2000-$2500 most places, which is into Breitling territory. Nuts. I might like the 43mm version better. Appreciate you showing the model number!

TBH Rolex gets more negativity in recent years due to selective selling and bad attitude. The Aquaracer line has been a great dive/dress line for nearly 20 years.

Tag is actually doing some pretty great things recently, there's the Night Diver (if they made a 40mm version....oh buddy) and there's a new one that uses Citizen's Eco Drive. I had a pair of Tag Heuer glasses that were $750 back in the early 2000's that fell apart after like a month so it really ruined the brand for me for a long time but if they make that Night Diver in a 40mm case I'll forgive them ;D I tell you what I would do with this one, get a LJP movement and replace it. Easy.

Interesting that it has an ETA movement even though it is discontinued now. I thought ETA was going to cut off ETA movements to competing brands a long time ago. (Swatch owns ETA, but not Tag Heuer).

That style of AR, the earlier ones had ETA. The later ones, including all of the white dialled ones have a Sellita.
