It would be true if the tongan govern Tonga with the fear of the the LORD, but the people who have the task of running tonga is so corrupt, selfish, dishonest, creedy, proud, boasters, evils, pride, they only looking for themselves and not for the country and the people of Tonga, If God were to be in the heart of all Tongan as Siaosi Tupou 1 gave Tonga to God, Tonga will always be look after by God, like the children of Israel, when they turn their back on God, God allow other country to make their life miserable and they learn their lessons, then they cried to God for help, China is coming to tonga, one day they open their eyes but it's too late, stop doing evil and start doing good , turn to God, get rid of the Mormon faith, Jehova witness, Islam, catholic church, they're not christian faith, they all demonic, and tonga will recovered to be Tonga are for tongan with the help from God, God bless

I don't think you should refer to the behaviour of other kjngdoms . Maybe you should look at genetics. Cause some of the cultures you referred to had rogue genes which were consequently passed on to their descendents Hopefully ,this is not the case.

It's unfortunate but the best way to keep the bloodline strong is this way. I personally would never marry my second cousin but his choices are very limited and I'm glad I'm not a Prince. I'm just a cousin of his through Isileli Tupou. ✊🏾🇹🇴
@OhMasters.2 жыл бұрын
But marriage between relatives makes them retarded. I don't mean to sound rude, but it is proven fact. Maybe they want to keep all the riches for themselves. Sounds like it may be time for a new government, where you people get to vote who you think is best to rule. If you want out of poverty, Change must happen.

Way back then when we were growing up in the 60s, there were lots of respects for parent and others, between brothers and sisters, cousins,etc the tongan culture of respects, you watch your language what you say, now a days Oh my goodness, you could wish the whole world are not reading it, the problems were, when we migrated overseas, our children picked up the English language but the parents weren't as guick as their children, the kids picks up good and bad, there conversation become normal in front of mum and dad, the parent are so oblivious to the enormity of the foul language that follows freely in the family environment, when we left Tonga we seem to leave behind our God fearing heart, our humble nature, our caring and loving people or is this a different generation that the bible is talking about before Jesus comes, which is very soon, that we will become boastful, proud, dishonest, disrespectful to parent etc. It's so sad that we forget our humble nature our love for things godly, the very few that shame the rest, when one of us do the unthinkable the whole community of tongan takes the blame, unbeknown to us that everything, be it good or evil, massive or tiny, hidden or out there for everyone to know God knows, and we will be punished for it, if you are to put your 20c opinions on any issue, always remember that there will be others that will like to put in theirs it could be your sister or brother cousins, remember the faka'apa'apa, be a proud Tongan, love your neighbor as yourself and love God with all your heart, mind and soul, may the love of God be in us all, and stop using foul language. thank you.

Though it's happened in the tongan royal family, it doesn't or rarely happen in commoners, and like most people agreed that too close blood relative it's kinda eerie, but when you look into the Bible for a more clearer guidelines, Jacob married Leah and Rachel, they were first cousin , they were from a brother and sister sibling read Leviticus 18, the whole chapter so you should know who you supposed to marry to avoid incest in the family line, the safest is marry to someone of a different cultures, my parent are a mix race marriage, my youngest sister married to a ?3rd or 4th cousin, it was a big deal to my uncle because they considered as still close relative, God gave us the sure guidelines for us to follow. God bless.
@samrangai1195 Жыл бұрын
First cousin marriage is practiced in some families of Southern Bougainville , mainly to bring stronger family ties between resource owners or some chiefly families,. Read Douglas Olivers' book, Siuai, kinship and leadership in a Solomon Islands society.
