The best fatalis fight I had was when I tanked his final 1 shot skill while I was riding my rathalos

power up phage(possibly max him out - lv 99, atk/def nutri I'd say 5:5 or 6:4). I used my stygian zig alot against the elders due to its dragon element attacks(This is in the 3ds version). stock up a lot of healing items. if you have max potions, that will do better. put dragon genes in phage. you can farm alot from deviljho

Fatalis only uses Dust Eruption when it's at 1 HP. You can't actually take him past 1 HP to 0 before he uses it. So once he uses Dust Eruption... if you don't lose the battle, you've won.

Why not increase your defense it will slow your speed but you can keep your character alive and you also have guard For those big attacks , it’s been working good for me I just got to the volcano place I only got the game cuz it seemed really fun watching these vids eventually I got hooked on it

I farmed him for commendation, clue is lvl up your stygian zinogre, max if possible and then give him dragon gene, everything you can for dragon genes.. make sure in the end of the fight you throw up some surrogate gem because his final move can kill you both, even with my max level it still deal around 1000 damage..

Fatalis is the boss of the entire franchise of Monster Hunter aswell as by far the strongest monster in the series. BUUUUUUUUT!!!! Gameplay wise hes not the hardest at all untill he gets reintroduced in the newer modern MH games.

Just do non element bingo and all the attack bingos and dragon bingo.. (Top row white tech, middle power dragon, bottom speed dragon).. It works best for PvP let alone story..
