I think the league has missed guys like Thompson, who have both the skill and the confidence to pull off goals like this. McDavid is not the only one anymore. I'm getting flashbacks of guys like Jagr, Lemieux, Datsyuk... So entertaining!

His 38 last season was also fun to watch(ESPECIALLY that last couple of months of the season that all started with that spectacular win against vegas!) despite losing a lot. No mistake tho, I'm 100% with ya this year! The fact that when you really break down what he has added to his game this season, its the ability to fry all our brains with the moves, then score. Except....there's NO SHOT!!!! He is so crazy, he doesn't even have to shoot the puck to score now!!!....thats....that's just outrageous and I'm loving every bit of it!😊

I was hoping that you would've included the late 21-22 season goal against Chicago where he broke his stick and the puck hit the backboard, came back out and was knocked into the Black Hawks' net by their goalie, who promptly broke his stick on the goal post!!!

So many great players in the league yet many of them you wouldn’t know unless they’re in your division or you really follow the whole league. I only just learned about Svechnikov in Carolina these year after he looked great twice against the oilers and now I’m just discovering Tage Thompson. What a player, what a one timer. Any other guys out there making names for themselves this year?

And with situations like this arising where projected stars take about 2-4 years to fully develop . I think we can see a potential case of byfield breaking exploding like TNT did this year , I think we can see laffy and kakko get insanely good like this too either this or next year. To close , I think the Game of hockey is growing and evolving by the second and it’s naturally beautiful. Did you kno there are now over 50 + ppg players in the NHL RIGHT NOW? 50 superstars who show us highlights by the daily .
