That $37 million is just an estimate that they made while BLACKPINK was still on their World Tour. After their World Tour ended in 2020, they already confirmed that their World Tour gross more than $56 million. 😃 Unluckily, BLACKPINK don't get enough credits for their participation in the songwriting of their songs. This is a fact. For example, Jennie admitted that she wrote Stay in one of the behind the scene video that I found on Twitter. It is clip of one of the BLACKPINK reality show on KZbin. In that clip, Jennie reveal the reason why she felt very emotional whenever they performed Stay live is that she is the songwriter. Jennie literally cried when performing Stay live. I also found out that after they release As If Your Last, they have an interview. During that interview, Lisa admitted that she wrote the rap verse for As If It Is Your Last. She even said that it is longer than she thought it is. This interview was all over the news in South Korea. During an interview, Tushar Apte one of the producer who work on the BLACKPINK's song, Love To Hate Me, reveal that Danny Chung and Lisa write the rap verse for Love To Hate Me together. 😃 This is what Tushar Apte said during his interview, Question: Was the first draft you submitted instantly approved or did the members share their feedback with you to rework on? Tushar Apte's answer: We pretty much got it right the first time on this! Which isn’t common at all, but of course Lisa and Danny Chung had to go and write the amazing rap verse that really takes the record to a whole different level! However, if you look at their credits for their songs such as Love To Hate Me, you won't find their name on the credit list for some songs. The only thing I don't like about this documentary is how they didn't mention that Jisoo is the lead vocal, not just the visual and "oldest". I wish they showed off her voice in her segment because they did that for other members. Apart from this, Asian Theory makes some of the best videos when it comes to Kpop. They do their research so well! And they highlight all members, and the all elements that go into making a group.

I saw them at their concert in Texas. My behind flew over there from Florida. I had to see them and I lost it. Lisa is my bias and my 26 year old ass was singing and screaming. It was so cool seeing grandma's and youngsters of all ages with light sticks and just singing in a foreign language that's not very well-known.
