BTS is a family. The members of the group really did raise Jungkook.

Yes. Jungkook was 13/14 when he moved into the dorms away from his parents into the training system with these other guys. They all lived together and walked him to middle school while the other young ones attended high school. It's been about 12 years together for the first members. They are really a family at this point.

RM is such an amazing leader, he once said “a good leader doesn’t pull from the front, he pushes from the back” and you can tell that he is so proud the other members accomplishments more so than his own even tho BTS was literally created around RM. As a teenager he impressed Bang PD so much that Bang PD created the group for RM

All of them were signed into the company , they could have debit solo or duo or as group or a producer ...but the CEO wanted a create a group made of seven members with individual characters not based around one member or no member was doing charity on others by waiting for others giving away one's chance of solo debut ...company wanted to create a band and it did .

Other little facts that I find amazing: Jin was scouted off the street when he was a teenager but he ignored them cause he thought it was a scam and Big Hit scouted him off the bus when he was in college Suga's parents were against his career choice for a long time, even going as far as destroying his music to force him on the "right" track. Thankfully, theyre proud of him now and Sugas super happy about it J-hope was the least liked member of the group in the early days and was constantly hated on by the public. He actually left BTS because he thought they would do better without him, even though the group begged him to stay with tears in their eyes. RM convinced J-hope and Big Hit that the group can't be without him and he eventually came back Jungkook was scouted by 7 companies when he auditioned. He picked Big Hit because he's a huge fan of RM

Lol Daechwita is STILL stuck in my head ever since it came out. Literally checked like every 2 hours for it to release. I didn't even sleep. I'm mostly like Suga than the others (relate to him more). I love them all the same though. They are like older brothers I never had (considering my own brother disowned me). So I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Just like always. Every single lyric he rapped I related to. It's like that with all BTS songs, but like I said, I just relate to Suga more. I guess it's just because we have a similar personalities, hobbies, and everything. I do like art, fashion, and I play the guitar and alto saxophone a little bit. Well, used to. It's been a while. Still have a few guitars and a saxophone though.

Suga's names are actually very interesting if you don't know the meaning behind them yet. He used to be a shooting guard in basketball so that is where Suga comes from (Su=shoo from shooting and ga=gua from guard). His solo name (Agust D) is DT Suga backwards, the DT standing for Daegu Town which is his hometown that he references a lot in songs. Most of the time you'll hear people say "b-boy" but he says "d-boy" because he is from Daegu.

This is an older video but it is popular to fans because it shows their early days and vulnerabilities, but BTS has always been forthcoming with their fans. That authenticity and humbleness is what makes them so relatable. Since this time all BTS members study English, and understand fairly well, speaking more now. Btw - JK just finished his BS degree in FIlm/Music, Jin graduated with his MBA, and other 5 are all enrolled in Masters programs. How they have the time to create music, tour, act in their MVs and reality shows and study is beyond amazing considering how much content they release! There are many 'about BTS' videos and each of them offer a different perspective, there is no need to rush. If you really want to learn about them, their journey, their music and the many social causes they support, the fans will guide you.

Honestly never think something is too long, it goes by so fast and we will watch you reaction too. I love seeing people react to this one even though it's outdated it still gives you a really good first look into how different all of them are and how much every member bring. As long as you pay attention to the videos and pause if you have to do stuff or talk so you don't miss stuff do not worry even if it's over an hour long. We often prefer longer reactions rather then shorter ones and hate it when people cut their reactions. And do more of these kinds of videos too because I promise just like this one it will make you understand them and their lyrics so much more and it's always fun, funny and heartbreaking at times and over all interesting. I see you've gotten suggestions for V and the rappers and I want to add Lie as a solo for Jimin it's amazing the production, his voice, everything and do the lyric video first and then a llive performance so you can concentrate on the amazing performance and choreo when it's live. Jimin is not only a contemporary dancer, he started with poppning and hip hop then contemporary major in high school + other forms of dance too in school. And he is a black belt in Taekwondo, did 8 years of Kendo + hapkido and othr forms of martial arts.

JHOPE dancing gives me life man. Liquid Grace .. i just cant even. Savage Suga kills me Hobi brings me back Jimin is the god of modern dance and he is impeccable on stage, his vocal abilities are everything he wanted and more. Taes voice has gotten SO good its unbelievable. Hes part of the dance line now too! JK .. can do ANYTHING... srsly everything he touches turns to gold. RM... nothing would be possible without him. And he really IS a Rap Monster I don't see how anyone can have a favorite. My favorite is whoever happens to be on screen. If I did have a bias ( I DO NOT) but if I did... who's the king? Yes we are all here watching this all the way through again just as we do with everyone watching it for the first time. I know ARMY comes at you a lot to watch certain informative guides about them but they only do it because they know how much it adds to the listening experience and connection to who they are not only as incredible artists but also as incredible humble human beings plus their journey to where they are now and the bond they have with each other and their fans is just so beautjiful and so very unique its very unlikely we will see anything like them again. I see people mostly recommending only the rappers... but the vocal line also have amazing music... Jungkook -“my time “ or “begin” live to see the dance .. it’s nuts , V - singularity , jimin - serendipity and jin - moon: there’s enough rap line recommendations but just wanted you to know all 7 members have music and they all definitely deserve some love! There’s a cool dance practice called 3js prom party and it’s jungkook jimin and jhope dancing to a medley of three songs in each of their styles but it’s cool to see the dances while they’re learning them there bc it’s easier to see than the performance one for some reason. Their live stuff and there dance practices will blow your mind... danger - dance practice is one of my fave. Also this guide is great but outdated and a lot has changed since it came out.. but def a good way to learn about the members earlier years! You can watch “American hustle life” the reality show they did in the US if you want. Or even “rise of bangtan” it’s a docuseries on KZbin of their entire journey that some armys spent over 3 years putting the whole thing together and there’s like 11 episodes right now I believe

In the beginning, BigHit was such a small company that all that could be afforded for BTS was a small one-bedroom apartment. Check out the video 'BTS Dorm.' They have talked in interviews about how tough it was in their early years. How they had to stretch what little food they had and making do. Their hard work has earned them all comfortable places to live, yet they have never forgotten to help others.

PART 2 OF 2 ... V aka Taehyung, it’s true he would’ve been a farmer if he was unexpectedly noticed when he accompanied his friend to a bighit audition as support but because of his undeniable features is probably what caught bighit in the beginning but for me it was his soulful deep voice and extremely humble pure-hearted adorable personality is why he’s one of my biases (favorite) along with Suga & JungKook. Like Jin, Taehyung also gets the best of both worlds of music and acting. Also has habit of using his favorite fine art artists’ names when traveling Lol Silly boy 😹 He loves photography on top of having many different hobbies etc. After 5+ years of training and practicing proving that he belongs with the dance line, he finally was added as a worthy dancer in 2018. He studied the saxophone for three years on top of getting singing lessons before or after in joined Bighit & BTS ... the song playing is called “Definitely You” by V & Jin which is OST to V’s drama “Hwarang”. Jungkook is known as the golden maknae because he’s good at almost everything, the nickname was given to him by RM which many fans don’t know that. In school there wasn’t one thing that he wasn’t good that really frustrated him allot until he came across a Taekwondo Club which seemed to be difficult in the beginning because I heard during his school years it took him abit to actually join the club but since but I think its easier now. He was 14 (15 years old in korean age) when he joined BTS, I believe that’s when he finally found his new home away from home where he faced much challenges and he could develop his filmmaking on top of other skills. The dance line is usually in the front to open up with the choreography. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU REACT TO HIS G.C.F VIDEOS because they really amazing & neat. Similar to Jimin ... Jungkook had previous dancing abilities which he applied to their training & dance practices. That is called Idol Star Athletic Championships, which I think they have once or twice a year to keep the artists fit and active instead of being home as couch potatoes watching tv & on their phones. Toward the end this scene is from episode 8 finale of BTS in American Hustle Life where they had to hand out flyers as an assignment for their mini showcase concert before performing “No More Dream” and “We Are Bulletproof” when they were in LA for the first time as a group.

The rappers go so hard. I really hope you'll check them out some. A lot of the group's titles don't have a ton of rap but the b-sides and their older stuff does. Plus the rappers all have a lot of solo work and unit stuff. I recommend the Skool Luv Affair performance from 5th Muster, Outro: Tear, Ugh!, and of course the Cyphers (specifically pt. 3&4). They're a great team because they're all extremely talented but they're also all really different from each other. RM is technically a prodigy and his sound is the most probably traditionally "western" so lot of westerners find his music familiar and accessible. But his style has really evolved and he's very much a poet and he incorporates more atmospheric vocals now. For him I recommend Moonchild and Intro: Persona, though God Rap is my personal fave (the two you heard in here are Joke and Do You which are both off of his 2015 mixtape). Suga is very emotional and his style is very visceral. As you noticed he is FAST and he uses his breath to really enhance the emotion of a track. He does production for a lot of outside artists (including Halsey, Max, and IU) and plays a few instruments so he really *knows* music. His lyrics are generally straightforward and he doesn't mince words and he's very passionate. For him I recommend Daechwita and Interlude: Shadow, though First Love is my fave of his (the three you heard on here are Agust-D and The Last from his 2016 mixtape and Intro: Nevermind). j-hope is the most non-traditional of the three (and probably my favorite). He's been rapping and writing for a decade but he comes from the world of hip-hop dance and his personal perspective and aesthetic is bright and funky which has really influenced his sound. He's developed something new and distinct and is really one of one in his style of rap. He's also a sub-vocalist in the group so melodic rap is a signature of his and his voice has a really wide range of tones so he can give you a lot of different stuff on one track (or one verse even!). His lyrics are really referential so they can go over your head if you're not familiar w/Korean culture or literature or his own past verses. He's most known for his flow and musicality. He comes on a track and you start moving. He's a performer first so his rap takes into account the audience a lot. I know I'm taking longer to explain him but when you get into his stuff, you'll see--it's all very "j-hope" but there's a lot of variety within that. It's difficult to pin him down. For j-hope I recommend Daydream and Chicken Noodle Soup (a remake of the Webstar & Young B song) or P.O.P. pt 1, which is my fave (the ones you heard in the vid were Baseline and Airplane, both from his 2018 mixtape Hope World).

The suga song was Agust D by Agust D. His rap is something else. Also if you want to react the BTS hardships... you’ll understand where they came from. They really started at the bottom and climbed all the way to the top. Nothing was handed to them, nothing was easy. They really are talented hard working guys.
