Muslim rulers never established any university. They promoted islamic studies only. British came and destroyed economy and banned native education. This native education gave the world Yoga, Vedas, Ayurveda, Astronomy, Sangeet shastra, notto shastra, metallurgy, architecture, town planning, sustainable living, tolerant and inclusive way of living, respect for all, prosperity (why were outsiders so eager to invade, rule, loot or colonize India?), harmony of nature and cultural potpourri. Unity in diversity. These are out of syllabus for all major non Indian ideologies including communism

He also claims India's scientific advancements only came through the British. Hw even had experts on his channel who idiotically say that Urdu was the first written language in India and the hundreds of Indian language and scripts did not exist before Urdu. Parker is a charlatan. I made 7nquiries about his MIT attendance and found he got it through third world quota. He did not stay in USA because he knew he could not compete with the best of minds. I’d love to see Dr Hoodbhoy saying, “It’s a crazy and illogical Islamic belief that the Prophet went to havens on a Buraq (winged horse). That Earth is spherical - was not known to Allah (ref. Quran) in 7th Century what was known to Greeks in 5 BC (I’m deliberately not quoting Sanatana scriptures). He often talks about the Golden Age of Islam and its stars- Avicenna, Ibn Haytham, Ibn Khaldun, Averroes etc.. first they all are converted Muslims ( none Arab). Barring Haytham they were totally influenced by Greeks(none by Quran). He keeps harping on separating Faith and Science and in the same breath calls these luminaries ‘Islamic Scientists’. The Black Hole invites ultra left intellectuals from India- Ram Guha, Harsh Mander..,. Dr Hoodbhoy is a rational and logical man. My advice to him- DocSaab charity begins at home; First teach Pakistanis the logic, rationale and morality contained in Quran before commenting on The Gita, Bible or Torah.

He travels, stays, eats, entertains to the best capacity in India paid for 💯 by Hindus. Once he arrives in India, he never wants to leave. "Maan na maan, mai tera mehmaan" 😂. He scrounges into homes of affluent Hindus. None of his expenses in India are shared by any of the 20 crore Muslims. I once considered Pervez a rational person and respected him for his academic achievements. However, over the past few years, I’ve observed a transformation in him. He has become negative and illogical, with noticeable changes in his body language. He now appears defensive and expresses biased and uninformed opinions. For someone of his stature, gifted with a scientific mind, his recent public talks reveal him as just another irrational and foolish individual. I believe India’s progress has made him envious and negative, hindering his ability to deliberate logically, contrary to his scientific training. My advice would be that he should spend the rest of his life doing yoga and meditation.

yes, Gora ji, at one time I was also impressed by what appeared to be an erudite scholar, a rare commodity in Pakistan. later hearing him speak on different occasions i have realised that he has been completely coloured by Maulana Madudi, and his teachings.
