Tahoe Rim Trail Ultralight Gear List

This one is for the gear nerds like me. I recorded this the day before starting the trail so its rushed and not recorded very well so I almost decided not to post this. And this was also a month ago right before the bear can rule in Desolation Wilderness. I switched a few very minor things but that doesn't change much. I also forgot to add the weight of my camera and small tripod and the fanny pack. The camera is a Fujifilm X100F if you're curious though. Some of these things don't even count towards my base weight but I thought they were interesting enough to share and maybe inspire some ideas for your own gear.

Awesomely light loadout. No bear cans required there?

Bear cans are required in desolation wilderness now. I did the whole trail this year and I'll probably do an updated gear list too

@chili1593 I caught a few fish at Gilmore lake. I honestly didn't have much time to fish, especially for my fitness level at the time. I spent most of my time hiking so it was unnecessary for my goal. But I've done well fishing a lot of those lakes when hiking fast and far wasn't the goal

Nice. I dig the fly fishing kit. I need to get into that. I've been looking into rain/wind pants lately but wondering if I'll really need it.

Fly fishing is pretty fun, and this tenkara style keeps it light and simple. It's very limiting though, I'd rather bring a rod with a reel for fishing trips. I pretty much only got the wind pants cause I wanted something lighter than my long johns I used to sleep in. They're also good for when its buggy at camp. They are surprisingly warmer than I thought they'd be too. I've heard of people using dance warm up pants as wind pants and those are cheaper too
