Susan, I must say that you are such an amazing teacher. I managed to fix two things with this video. First, keeping the bowl in the right place. I normally arched the pelvic bone to far behind till I feel a stress in the back. So, balancing it to the middle had solved the problem. Second, about shifting weight from one leg to another. I listened to your instruction and focus on the kua of the heavy leg and shift that weight along the pelvic to the other side of the Kua. That helps loosen up some stress on my knees. Thank you.

Thank you for telling me your successes from watching my videos! I really do appreciate it. It makes all my work on my videos and teaching worthwhile when I know folks are seeing, viewing and learning! Especially if it makes your Tai Chi more comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciate your taking the time and making the effort to leave comments. It helps to grow my KZbin channel so more people can find me.

@@InternalTaiChi Susan, I must say that I have been searching for so many Tai Chi teachers from KZbin and you are the only one which has the right background that explains the science and the theory in detail. Thank you for teaching us.

I think I understand. We are all a work in progress my friend. What I teach is what I , and others along on the journey should strive for. I have a slight discrepancy in hip height due to old injury. At nearly 60 years old, seven herniated discs, and a history of one dislocated knee and two dislocated shoulders, I think I'm doing pretty good...thanks to Tai Chi, pelvic trim and proper weight shift.

What you are saying is correct I just pointed out it is more important to show it than say it 60 is young but if you have all those injuries you are doing well I don’t think I have ever heard of someone with 7 herniated discs and not be in a wheelchair

@@waynehansen9100 I would rather point out that I am REAL, orthopedic anomalies and all. If I waited to teach a concept in Tai Chi until I had it perfect, I would never teach anything. I see it as my passion and job to teach principles as I understand them and as I also journey toward them. I am sure you know, Tai Chi is absolutely not about perfection. If you seek perfection in my teaching, my demonstrations or my Tai Chi, even in my examples....go somewhere else. You will not find it in me. That is why I have Tai Chi Tom....lol. When doctors look at my MRIs and xrays they are stunned. I am a true testament to the powers of Tai Chi...even if mine (or anyone else's) is not perfect.
