I've only learned from two CCK disciples: Ng Tai Man (HK) and Chiang Huy (Vietnam), so I don't really have much perspective to offer. My own limited experience is that Ng Tai Man's mantis is extremely aggressive, and if anything my learning under Chiang has encouraged a slightly more patient approach. That's also going to reflect my own personal maturation as well: learning under Ng, I was much younger and headstrong. Now I'm a bit older and a bit less headstrong. :)

This is one observation I've made over watching people (and practicing taichi mantis myself), but does it seem that the Hong Kong branch seems super non-agressive or something? The Mainland and Vietnamese branches of taichi mantis seem much more aggressive. Do you see that too?
