In this brief video with Richard Wickes, a practitioner of Wu Style Tai Chi (Wu Tai Sin lineage), I illustrate how internal training transforms the body into a “conductive” state, enabling forces to flow through with minimal external movement. A crucial aspect of achieving this effect is ensuring that the energy passes through the joints rather than becoming trapped at the joints-a fundamental requirement for success in the internal arts. Please note that this is not a combat scenario, and my partner is maintaining his structure to allow for the demonstration and to feel what is happening.

Well damn, I follow your channel for more than 6 years and I gotta say that it's extremely satisfying seeing you explain stuff. I was looking forward to it for years. 😊 😅 My road towards the internal skills is quite rocky due to my handicaps but, I always knew your cold and mindful approach will do the magic for the... Martial Man community.

@@THEMARTIALMAN I know you're a busy man tending to many many comments but I have a question about jinn if you're willing to give some insight. I can use peng or pong how ever is spelled properly and I can float people quite well but for the life of me, I cannot na. What exactly happens with na? What is the jinn doing to make them stuck to you? Sometimes there are moments of great control with pong but there never stuck to me like when it's properly used by Liang or Adam. What do you focus on to train na? Or is it just an emergent quality of getting more proficient with a deeper song?

@@grahamtacon822 Hi Graham, there are specific exercises to train these things. I recommend taking the "Intrinsic Energies of Internal Martial Arts" with Sifu Mark Rasmus online course. He covers Na Jin (Seizing energy) and much more in great detail throughout the video lessons shared there: themartialman.com/courses/intrinsic-energies-with-sifu-mark-rasmus

Top man. I remember the first time he interviewed Adam and was baffled by jinn and now he's using it so casually 😂. How many taiji "masters" can't do what he's done in a few years. It's impressive

So glad to see this from you. I've been waiting years to see if you were incorporating internals. I see you practicing under the drone 😅 I tried to meet up with a "Tai Chi expert", he said...Chi doesnt exist 🥱 And that the Supreme Ultimate is just really good biomechanical physics. . . . . . . . . . I think all information is valid. But there's a way to put "energy" and not mass behind a technique. But like you've said. You're changing the body to do Tai Chi, and it shows. Great Video Martial Man Clean. And I agree with other comment, you are sounding like a great future teacher.

Energy flows easily for me, but ive never seemed to be able to do this in a defensive/fighting type thing. Is there a video you can point to, that is a good begining for those who can send energy to anyone on the planet and beyond, usually as healing forces though. Where should i begin when it comes to QiGong/TaiChi (defense) is what i call it... Thanks for any tips... I did a lot of chanting meditation until i discovered this ability. Again, just using for healing and energy but ive always know, some how, it can be used like this and the other videos you show, but i havent seen any real instruction. How to develop the feeling that you can use this against an attacker, etc... as for me, its just all thoughts, i think, i breath, i send energy and it happens. Thanks!

So gin comes out how is this not body mechanics
@bluemoonwei9 ай бұрын
Jin is a bullet. The body is a gun, he explained how to pull a trigger so that the bullet can come out from the barrel (only if you have a bullet) . If you try all of the above and explanation on a bigger guy and try it by force without peng gin, then the person that flies won't be the guy on the otherside.
@fauxz37829 ай бұрын
@bluemoonwei this here is not jin this is body mechanics. Instead of using one limb, he is using his whole body to redirect the force
@bluemoonwei9 ай бұрын
@@fauxz3782 the only way you can tell if the person is using jin or just machanics can be solved in 3 simple points but you would need to test this with a bigger partner yourself to see if this is real or just simple machanics.1 No strength added you are only allowed to use the motions shown above(muscle tension can be felt on the other side person and the partner isn't dumb to just sit there if you add strength, if you add he would add 😀 even if it's just a demo) 2 sudden jolt of speed a bit of a cheap shot with most people that show applications do this and I don't think I can read this with this vid but again the moment you try a big person you would understand what I mean3 reliant on reaction of other person to tense up and then you push (in taiji this is known as ting you can glue the person onto you and the person shouldn't be able to let go) . Once all of the 3 are removed from the Equation you would need the so called jin to over come the person to execute this smoothly. Hence I said it's a bullet and he's just telling you about the gun.
@onlinemoney20139 ай бұрын
@bluemoonwei Indeed this is the "gun" you mention aka: the body to support jin movement/timing. He is using the force of the opponent. So yes the Jin is coming out from the pressure apllied to him its a form of jin and closer to Li. The form of jin you talk about is closer to yi if im not mistaken. Thanks for your comment
