Well, when you’ve had your ego built up to become simultaneously huge yet fragile in having your destiny foretold for greatness yet having that validation lie in external forces, of course that would be your reaction. The dragon warrior destiny is all Tai Lung has ever known, so being rejected is like finding out his life’s work was a lie.

Being rejected, especially you worked all your life to strive becoming the greatest; it is perhaps, the great feeling of betrayal. Why feel regret and sorrowful for being rejected for a small error or enigma? Perhaps, Oogway percept the minor error in Tai Lung as a dilemma; a massive shadow, or an unfitting identity. Either way, should Oogway cast judgement in Tai Lung by his 'wisdom'; it would be a sort of pain, the convoluting decision, - if not for Oogway himself proclaimed 'wise' as a noble tortoise. Nevertheless, rejecting a big goal with small errors than a small goal with big errors is none other; - a deceptive irrational decision.

There is a theory that the reason that he was denied the dragon warrior was just a test to see how he would react that’s also another reason that it’s blank not just to say to make something special you just have to believe it’s special, that’s why everyone was confused intill po found out what it meant

Also, in real life snow leopards are actually much smaller than tigers and tigers are the largest of the big cats with the Siberian being the largest, lions coming in 2nd, and jaguars being the 3rd largest big cats. Jaguars also have the largest bite force of all big cats, powerful enough to break a turtle's shell.

Po was lazy fat panda but in heart of po there is no darkness.. he knows the value of power and goodwill.. Tai lung was great but shifu raised him as a powerful and told him he was destined to dragon warrior. He becomes so greedy of it. When he learn he can't be that.. his darkness takes the main path and destroys...Even after po becoming the dragon warrior he never he remains same as he was. Thats why oogway chooses him

Shifu didn't jump to conclusions about Tai Lung, it was Tai Lung who jumped to conclusions with Shifu. He is the one who made assumptions throughout the movie. He thought he would be the Dragon warrior not because Shifu told hime so but because he thought that was what Shifu wanted to for him. Go back to the confrontation scene with Tai Lung and Shifu fighting. He tells Shifu that 'You knew I was the dragon warrior, you always knew' not YOU TOLD ME I WOULD BE THE DRAGON WARRIOR or YOU SAID I WOULD BECOME THE DRAGON WARRIOR. He also jumped to the😮 conclusion that because Shifu didn't defend him that meant he didn't love him at all which is not true because Shifu tells him that at the end of their fight. Shifu never jumped to conclusion swith Tai Lung that's were people don't understand the story. He only did that with Tigress and Po because he learnt it from Tai Lung not the other way around. People don't get that while Tai Lung tells everyone but himself that they are wrong while he simultaneously refuses to admit that he himself has a problem or is at fault. Shifu's problem is that he can't get Tai Lung to accept the fact that he has deluded himself into making preconceived notions about everyone around instead of getting to know their problems by talking things out civilly without violence. In the end he didn't listen to Oogway, to Shifu or to Po when the told him the truth and instead double down by calling them frauds when he himself is the fraud. Sad how he never even understand the people around him because if he did he would have been able to learn and grow as a person. Instead he remained arrogant to the bitter end eas defeated as a result. The problem was he couldn't listen to the people around him not that everyone around him didn't listen to him.
