Honestly, seeing Kung Fu Panda 4 now, I’m kinda disappointed Kai and Shen didn’t get to really fight. Like don’t get me wrong, it makes sense for Chameleon to immediately attack them before they can even comprehend what’s going on (and makes sense since they couldn’t even get their voice actors back) But like, idk. Seeing the three villains try to solo Chameleons army would’ve been amazing as hell to see. Would make for an amazing battle scene that could be quickly one-sided at first in their favor, and then suddenly the tables turn with the Chameleon managing to steal one of their king fu’s. (Probably Shen or Kai since they don’t have speaking roles) and it just becomes a brutal beat down until all their kung fu’s are stolen. At most, it would make the Chameleon… you know… actually intimidating for once.

Having seen the movie, shen definitely gets power over the chameleon (if we are talking about the influential power). The chameleon had the lizards and the fortress with magical cages, and the control over a city. Shen had the wolves and the gorillas, he had an enormous building and many many boats, all loaded with cannons, and also had control over the city. The amount of control Shen had was clearly more than chameleon, because the one of the chameleon seemed to still run itself, while the shen city was flooded with his influence and that of his wolves

I don't think she can gain such abilities by shapeshifting. She can only imitate Tai Lung because his ability was strenght and that's possible for her to simply shapeshift to increase her body mass and muscles but if she shapeshift into Shen she is not going to be more strategic, more smart, gain knowledge about the creation of weapons such as fireballs and cannons or even knowing how to psychologicaly disturb your enemy so forget the idea of her gain spiritual-magical powers by changing her body apearance into Kai xD but nice theory nonetheless

The Reason Kai (prime) is stronger than Chameleon (prime) is because the chameleon had the chi of every spirit realm master, (including Kai), but Kai had the chi of every spirit realm master+every mortal realm master+shifu and the furious five (minus tigress).

Chameleon wasn’t even that bad of a villain she just didn’t have much depth imo. I wish her goal was to be a hero but some kind of frailty in her body made her unable to learn kung fu(it’s not cause she’s short it’s cause she was just born extremely frail) so she learned sorcery and was ostracized by the people and as a result she became violent towards not only those who threatened the city but to the people who opposed her within the city. Basically she takes over the city and protects it but also rules it with an iron fist. That’s what I would’ve done.

Excluding Chameleon. Tai Lung is the only one who stands a slight chance against Kai. Now let's say Tai Lung mastered techniques in the spirit realm, he'd stand an even better chance. I think Tai Lung is the better fighter BUT Kais chi abilities outmatch him. Kai would defeat Tai Lung low diff (let's say Tai Lung has no chi experience and not in the spirit realm yet). Now if Tai Lung had that exp, he still would lose but it would take Kai High Difficulty

Tai lung tbh easily solos base Kai without chi. Chi Kai struggled with the furious 5 and only won bc he is immortal. His skill is almost non existent in Kung fu. Tai lung mastered all 1000 scrolls of kung fu and one tapped the furious five. One nerve attack from Tai lung and kais gone. Tai lung literally stomped the ground with one leg and kicked part of the earth out of the ground. Kai struggled to throw the statue of Oogway. Tai lung beats Kai with no chi. Kai with chi solos tho.

The Chameleon can defeat Kai if he is in his alive warrior form, but not when he has his Jade Blades and has absorbed the Chi of all the other kung fu masters, unless if she absorbs Po's powers. Either way, I don't see how she could bring Kai back when there's nothing left of Kai's soul.
