Tai’s natural scape is beautiful! I love the look and the design, very natural plus the combination of plants in an out of the scape make it so alive and 3D looking. It really bring aquascaping to another level! THANK YOU George for another great video and tour!

Love the jungle, used to have tanks as such in the 90 s .thanks for sharing. Bless your mom's heart, see looks fab for her age! Love all the tanks and the carnivorous pitcher plants ,we have them here in the U.S. as well , in the wild bogs. As well as dew drops. If the web goes down books shall rule!!! Love house plants, and cats. Perhaps something of kindred spirit sir.

I like books and houseplants, too. Really great outtake there at the end. Beautiful aquariums. The myriophyllum in the first tank is incredible. Always love when Tai joins you George. The two of you are great together. Take care.

Well done Tai, a great set up generally - and specifically, that big tank is a wonderfully rich mini ecosystem. BTW, take it from me, very few houses in the UK seem to have that combo of books and house plants. We viewed 75+ houses before buying and saw only one home with that type of ambiance.

Another great video George! Love Tais scapes! That big one of his is awesome! Love that style! Very amano! It’s refreshing to see instead of dioramas all the time! Keep up the beautiful content! And his mom doesn’t look a day over 65! What’s the secret?

Hi George, I find aquascapes with emers growth stunning. This episode also features a great example. Arian's aquascape a few days ago was another one. I have a little bit HC growing emers in my scape, but in general I have seen very few tutorials on how to do emerse growth. Wouldn't that be a good idea for a tutorial? I would like to know what plant species do well, what lighting is needed etc. I think it isn't trivial to integrate a nice emerse part, but the effect can be striking.

Nice video! Definitely sceptical about that substrate too 😄 ammoniacal nitrogen is supposedly the best source of nitrogen for our plants and a rich ammonia source in the substrate can be a huge benefit especially when lean dosing
@GeorgeFarmerStudios2 жыл бұрын
I guess they not be referring to nitrogen exclusively.

Same here, I've just had a quick google and for aesthetics alone, I love the look of the finer grained substrate. I really would love to see how it compares to Tropica/ADA
@WillsAquarist2 жыл бұрын
@@samg1879 I really like what Wio are doing, the biotope bags etc but no one is really using them. If it was Tropica or Oase on the bag I'd be all over them!

I have the red wio substrate (non eonian) and tbh its unusable. Far too dusty to use.....unless you're doing a mad max biotope.

Curious to know, if Tai is a big advocate of the biotope, why is his main style a jungle of plants from many habitats?

I’ll let Tai speak for himself but I am a big advocate of organic broccoli, but don’t eat it for every meal. 💚

hi there, while I set up a lot of biotopes (77 for my book project this last year), there are so many plants that I love and I don't want to always restrict myself, so I celebrate them by mixing species from around the world, so I can appreciate their textures, colours and forms. Biotopes have their charm and beauty, but sometimes I just want to mix it up a bit and it turns out I have a skill for creating such displays :)
