Gotta give credit to the gunner in the Ju-52. There he is with half his body sticking out while he try's to fend off three P-38's. The Ju-52 Transport was doomed as soon as the Lightnings turned up. I guess theres a fine line between ballsey and being straight up stupid. Maybe the Ju-52 gunner just simply had a death wish.

I dont think he had much of a choice, but try to survive. Having a lone gun atop a cargo/paratroop plane, seems pointless, especially when the fighters arrive, it's like fish in a barrel, without an escort...
