That's funny, I do the same thing with all my saws; when I'm done using them, I run them completely out of gas (choke them too), blow them of with compressed air and wipe em down and put em away!👍 Ironically enough, I literally just did the same thing last night with a Mac 7-10 Automatic! They only made them from September 1970 to September 1971, (that's when I was made too!). I got it about 2 years ago and just started messin with it last night. I got her running and she runs & she runs good! Carburetor needed a little work, but she's dialed in now!

Buckin, if you soak your diaphragm in DOT 3 or DOT4 brake fluid for 5-7 days, you’ll re-soften it to like new. It’s a temporary fix, but it’s a good thing to do when you have no other diaphragm on hand.

There are at least five different versions of bullfrog carb, the diaphragm in the packet looks to be a 63013, other versions include 65608, 65598, 67357. Mark Heimann who hangs out in the McCulloch thread at Arborstsite knows all about them.

If you like MACs burn good oil in them. I burn Echo Power Blend Gold at 40:1 in my MAC PM610. It runs fine and cranks fine. My 610 has a Walbro FB carb on it, as I remember. I am a Stihl man but the old MAc runs good, but is a little heavy for me. I use an old bath at to run my saws on.
