I think he actually did. Just because Lars doesn't kill it on the drums today, doesn't mean that he doesn't know anything about drumming and techniques. He just chooses not to drum like he used to. He has knowledge, but he's also lazy.

Great stuff. Very cool heavy groove and great energy. Also, I love the way the reflected light on the resonant kick drum head creates a light effect when it vibrates.

I fuckin love this, do not change, don't add a guitarist, don't change any thing. Why? Because it's original! There used to be a band in the 70s called I.T.M.B. they were excellent, just two guys jamming but it was as if they had a full roster of seven people. That is how I look at this. I would rather listen to this than Metallica any day...just wonder if Lars is jealous that his son can play circles around him. And man, the bass is so bad ass. Keep going I want an album!!!

Death from Above/Stripes'ish sound. I genuinely like it, I don't think they need a guitarist, it would take away from the sound they have, it be cool if they added other random stuff to each song, organs, and effects. I can't imagine listening to this and wanting it to be a metal band cuz it's not what it sounds like. It's honestly sounds like Death from Above 1979s first album you should check em out.

Yep…it’s the kids fault they love to play music and their parents were Gods. It’s cool they are doing their own thing and playing clubs. If they make a name for themselves and a successful career out of this it will be because they have talent. I’m not rushing out to buy someone’s music because they are the offsprings of some of my favorite musicians. If it sounds good, I’ll support them. It’s not their fault the media gives them the advertising because of who’s children they are.

@@arturkopijowski5507 I've seen Metallica live multiple times since 1986 and Lars live drummer has always bothered me. I am extra critical because I too am a drummer and know what real live drumming sounds like. I hated how he hurried through songs losing the feel. Side note: My neighbor when I was a teenager was Joey Bellardini (Belladonna) from Anthrax. He used to tell me all the inside stuff on my favorite musicians. Lars came up one time and he laughed stating that he is a nightmare in the studio because he takes so long laying his tracks due to his sloppy playing. I have to admit, that his playing has improved over the recent years.
