I didn’t understand one thing in his character. Why he kept his hand like he did throughout the film. So much emphasis on that hand when it had no role in the story earlier or later in the film.

The last fight scene i think was shown from pali perspective 1. The song if u listen to the lyric u understand that pali had an accident he was not able stand properly and the song represented his situation 2. The fight was blurred bcoz of an accident and loss of blood pali is not in his strongest form he was weak so i think thats what pali was seeing blurred images

I really liked the movie. I liked the music, I liked how it was shot, and I especially liked Harshvardan Rane and Saurabh Sachdeva in it. (I watched the episodic version of this).

Yaa, sourabh Sachdeva is so good more than the main leads, his acting is too on point, cinematography, editing somewhere is gone wrong otherwise music is good and the performances is good too.

@jaby Koay I think you are not realizing that you are just comparing the 'templates' of the narratives, 'Taish's structure with your traditional, familiar structure! This is a story and a story can be told in anyway. There is no 'correct' or an 'incorrect' way of telling it. I think Id urge you to look at the story just as a 'story' and not as a 'story-telling product-medium' that you are used to. You are comparing the 'plates and the serving dishes' but not the food which is different from what you normally eat!

@jaby koay In the film format , u can see some abrupt cuts here and there for instance jim sarbh's character just punches a dude in the swimming pool for no reason In the show format u can see what leads to that Film version plays out linearly so the Big Fight comes somewhere in the middle, its explanation coming before it, giving the bloodshed some context In the show version there's some extra scene but not something that adds a lot also and small stuff like camera staying on a character for a longer time

Well, I think that the Punjabi dialogues were when translated into the English, the entire development of Pali's family got lost in that translation because the Punjabi dialogues were very beautifully written and there were beautiful punjabi poetries as well. And the track "Sawan Mod Muhara" made it more alive. And you have already seen Saurabh Sachdeva as "Isa" in Sacred Games. For more of his acting, you should watch Manmarziyaan.

The main reasons for a lot of issues with this movie was that the ott platform wanted this as a series and the director wanted this as a movie, so eventually they released both but mainly as a series. So the final movie is actually a stitched up version of the series

Kol kol is such a beautiful song but of course, you won't understand the depth of the song playing in the background and for you, it's more of unnecessary noise. But it's a good song playing in the background for people who know hindi. But it's just my opinion.

Jaby please review Disney+ Hotstar's Special Ops and Voot Originals Asur. These indian series are the ones i am really proud of. Special Ops is Spy Thriller with Amazing Cinematography, Performances and storyline. Asur is based on crime, mythological suspense take and is an engaging story. Probably jaby will get Se7en vibe's. It is amazing show.

I agree with you review all that build up of the characters was for nothing for example that of Sanjeeda Sheikh's character. I thought she would play a bigger part in shaping the story but she didn't. I thought she would take revenge on both of the brothers because both of them treated badly. Pali showed anger towards his brother but like jaby said in the end, he took revenge for him. The story was going in weird directions.

Hey Jaby, I also felt the problems that you felt after watching the movie but after few days I watched the series version of TAISH..Yes it has a 6-episodes version as well and apparently series runtime is approx 2hr 59min, which is half n hour more than the movie. And I could feel the difference in narration. 👍
