This wasn't clear at all in what we saw televised...I also think it is unfortunate that most Americans cannot fathom the idea of multigenerational households. This model has helped many financially, but in our culture, most view it as less than ideal. I do, however, agree with others that Nate wasn't a good match. He seems like he'll make anyone uncomfortable who doesn't "fit" within his rigid rules and regulations.

Lori's walls are high. Her kids had some hard things to say about her. It's sad. Martin seems like a hidden jewel. I hope he finds someone loving and grounded! Pam seems to be living her best life! Nate is as closed off as Lori. Greg saying he wished he could go back in time and not lose his first marriage was sad. Just finished episode 8 and your review! You raised excellent and funny points! As a baby boomer I appreciated how the show portrayed that age doesn't matter when it comes to dating. We face the same issues and challenges that the youngins do. I loved Pam because I could see her hidden pain and fear. Im glad she found a new friend and a new gig. Something about Willie rubbed me the wrong way. I hope he doesn't hurt Anise. Suzanne is a hot mess lol! Lori is hiding behind her show business persona. The coach called it with the glasses. They are like a shield. And the fact that Lori refused to take them off for even a moment showed that she is unwilling to change. But her knowing both dates was unreal! I identified with Nate the most. An injury led to living with chronic pain AND I have OCPD (a form of OCD). I also take too long to make decisions and that sometimes lead to me losing out on a good thing. Great show. A refreshing change to the toxic relationship shows like LIB, MAFS, and Ultimatum.

This show was so great and real. I wish more people were talking about it. I was so happy they had a dating coach and were home with their families and not in some artificial enviorment. The grandma who made a good friend at the end was my favorite. She was just so lit up at the end, compared to how guarded and isolated she was at the beginning. Also all the old people and phones moments were super cute.

The reason she was dating was because her granddaughter / daughter was leaving home. She didn't need to date anyone, she just wanted to be busy and have some social life. Not everyone needs to be in a relationship to be happy.

The fact the show connected her with a new friend and that resulted in a business venture collaboration is amazing!
@CWRTalentPassitOn16 күн бұрын
Pam’s over chatty moments are due to her PTSD. It’s not a crime but let’s face it, her first date Robert set the tone by him being super rude about it instead of trying to understand why she’s so nervous, and engage her. Missed opportunity for him, not for her.
@hereforit2347Ай бұрын
Nate has a HUGE wall up. I think he is super self-conscious about his injury. My suspicion is he can’t perform in the bedroom like he used to because of his back. I think he’s afraid he can’t please or keep a woman. He needs to give it up and go ahead and be with his baby mama. She’s obsessed with him and will be there UNCONDITIONALLY. Nate is living in fantasy land. He wants someone better looking than his baby mama. I wish him luck. 🙄

I need a scene where Logan sits down with Lori's stylist. Why are the black box glasses non-negotiable? The graphic T seemed really casual for the party.

I love her glasses and her style, but she can definitely wear more flattering outfits. That t-shirt did nothing for her. I just happen to watch the show the day before and enjoyed it. I’m a boomer, single ten years and related to the people in the show. Your review was spot on.
@karenvermeulen39816 күн бұрын
I'm still watching, but I'm enjoying it. It's refreshing to see older people in dating shows. Now, I just want a show in my age bracket. People in their forties/early fifties. Love your recaps.
@LuxeGeekАй бұрын
You totally nailed every observation on this show! But I love this show because those over 50+ have the same struggles with dating and even more.

I CRINGED everytime I saw the Green Goblin on screen, he barely even looked at her! And when he said "If Im in your dm, its because you have something going on or something ", I damn near threw my remote

He looked like he's just bored and wants some attention to fill up his empty moments. Extremely passive person. Arghhh. But telling her she's locked up - that was true and bold. He's right.

Nate was previously on another dating show created by MrsKevonstage called on Love on Stage and he was the same - non commital, shallow, and not a good conversationalist.

hi Tait✋🏾 just came across your video. Its sweet of you to review a show about people who could clearly be your parent.... grandparent for some. you are hilarious😂😂 Thank you.

OMG Tait - I was so excited to find out that this show existed and immediately thought where can I sign up. Then I watched the first episode and I was like - where did they find these old people 😩. I’m in my late 50’s, I’m tech savvy and I actively roller skate 3 days a week. I didn’t finish the series, so I’m glad for your recap. I haven’t given up on dating - but I just need to find my people, continually learning active adults who are keeping up with the times.

What's up Tait? This is Pam, the crazy one on the show. Just want to be real and tell you what really went on. Yes, I babbled on that first date, but what it didn't show was as soon as I sat down, the guy (Robert) informed me that he was divorced, and his ex-wife was MUCH younger than me!! I disliked him immediately!! I didn't want to know a damn thing about him. Second date was on the show to plug his music. Wasn't interested in anyone but himself. Dwight was a great guy, but I don't hang in Atlanta anymore and I couldn't say anything on the tour except, well..The Limelight use to be there, there was a great diner that use to be there, LOL yadda yadda. I was the oldest and my generation were crazy partiers!! I haven't changed much since then. But love you! You're kool. As for dating, not really my thing. I just wanted to do this with my Boo, Zoe. Thanks for the kind words. Unless you lived through the 60's and 70's like I did sweetie, you couldn't possibly understand what it was like. It was great, and I'm proud to be a part of that generation. God Bless

The show was soooo cute! I loved it and i only watch it because of your review so thank you! Willie and Anise were my favorite! Some of the other daters were still making the mistakes of the young. You'd think some of the petty stuff would change by that age. Also I was sad that some of the woman kept choosing the "bad boy" or unavailable/uninterested men and overlooking the good men. Smh some things never change.
@passengershamingparodyАй бұрын
Gen X woman here (not a Boomer, how dare you sir lol), and it's hard as helllll out here trying to date. I think you were right when you said it's basically the same, regardless of age. Love your videos! :)

@gayleendream5073Ай бұрын
The explanation of how he died doesn’t make sense. It is almost impossible to burn anything down with a cigarette. Not saying she did that but the circumstances are questionable.

I definitely enjoyed this show (just finished the series) and I’m glad you shared your take on it! Logan was a great coach (much better than Sima auntie!). So many other shows would benefit from someone like her. (I agree that Felton was walking his pet goldfish!) You are right that some things never change…most pointedly that people will continue to want things they can’t have…
