Aria’s feeling for Caleb is like the girl who falls for her gay best friend. she is so unaccustomed to platonic closeness with a man that she things it’s a connection.

I mean I think there was a connection but Caleb isn’t a man-child like JR and wasn’t gonna disrespect Mariah by using it for hall-pass behavior. Even if there was a little buzz of feelings. Mariah is exhausting, but his partner still even through the fake show breakup. Real adults don’t think the solution to a flawed relationship is jumping into a different one. Who knows if Mariah and Caleb will last (right now they are on a post filming buzz) but right now isn’t the time for Caleb to indulge into if he had feelings for Aria or not. And even if he did and he and Mariah don’t work out, I think the buzz of his time with Aria is over.

But it wasn’t that.. He wasn’t a platonic connection and that’s what he admitted to. And that’s why Mariah was hurt when she saw it back. She knows her man and how he was moving, didn’t read 100% platonic. (Not to say he wanted to leave her or even Aria wanting him to leave with her) It was to acknowledge that he didn’t properly disclose the true nature of his connection to her. And him not allowed to follow Aria but manually checked her account shows again, he wasn’t being transparent. That’s what this has been about. It was a part of the experience, building connections and using that to build the strength of your relationship.

I dont think they were going too hard on Nick. Looks like he crashed out even more than what netflix put in the show. Vanessa should be able to speak up if she picked a drugee/ drunk who lashed out at her. She probably wasnt even crying over David she was probably crying at the wasted chaotic situation she was in with Nick. Nick is exhausting and draining. Even Sandy spent most of the time crying while she was with him.
