Literally some of the best photos I've ever taken were of the temples and landscapes in Jiufen. I remember visiting a restaurant at the end of the old street that had a patio overlooking the coast with some of the most breathtaking views. I know it's been awhile since you've posted these David, but thank-you for these vlogs! I've missed Taiwan so much and I hope I can go again soon once this pandemic is over. And I hope I get to go again to Jiufen and stay for an entire day. Would love to see the teahouse at night.

This is so nciely filmed! And I like the fact that a lot of people watching your vlogs want to try and go to Taiwan. I've met such adorable people there (my chinese language teacher was just the cutest person EVEEEEER). The food is cheap (even vegetables) and plain awesome, people are nice and respectful, public transportation is on point, convenience stores are everywhere and sell everything you might need, there are a lot of beautiful places and cultural spots. Finally, people actually recycle things there (even at the Mcdonald's you have several trashcans available to recycle! Big change from France lol). Conclusion: EVERYONE GO TO TAIWAN! :DDD

Used to think all the timestamps were excessive but I think they add to the mood. Kinda gives a more accurate feel of the place and provides some mental pacing to your journey. Probably good for reference as well if anyone wanted to go but didn't know what time (how busy it is) or if they wanted to take shots at a certain time of day even. It just helps a lot. So thanks for adding them in.

I *love* Jiufen! I've been to Taiwan twice because my best friend/college roomie is Taiwanese and I've gone to visit her and her family twice and the first time I went she took me to Jiufen. That was back in 2006 and I had no idea the connection between Jiufen and "Spirited Away" so I missed making the connection. I so wish I had gone back last year when I was visiting (but it was Chinese New Year then and a total cf of crowds and ceremonies to attend). LUCKY!!
