The Cambodian people are seriously observing the situation and will take necessary actions to push the country forawrd, including the reassessment of the Government’s performance. PBS reports estimated 540,000 tons the first year of bomb raids over Cambodia in 1969. The speaker said US Navy is there to watch and oversee what is going on next door Navy base built by Beijing. Remember Cambodia is the independent country. Cambodia had been getting threats from many countries and pressures. Due to international pressures on Cambodia take sides, Cambodia had no interest in other parties’ political interests. Cambodia had embraced economic growth and good relationship with all friends and allies. If the US can help Cambodia’s economic growth, why not? Let me clear about Cambodia current situation now. Cambodia current Primer Ministers (PM Father and Son) are Vietnam agents who dress up as Cambodia, but both work for Vietnam interest. The border between Vietnam and Cambodia has no Cambodia soldier to protect it. Cambodia has only former Khmer Rouge soldiers to guard Thai border, but not Vietnam border. Vietnamese people in Cambodia have more right and privilege than Cambodia people, but Cambodian people living in Vietnam get suppressed and jailed by Vietnamese government. Vietnamese people can come and go into Cambodia freely. Vietnam now is occupying two countries (Cambodia and Lao). Vietnam does not need to fight with Cambodia to get free land and islands. They use these two to do a job for them. Vietnam has sent a lot of their agents plus the ones who were born in Cambodia into Cambodia military and police. These people can speak and write Cambodia. The opposition party wants to rise up against current government won't have a chance. The Vietnam agents who work in Cambodia police force will dress as civilian and kill the opposition party members. Vietnam keeps taking land along its border everyday. The two PM's won't do anything about it because they are Viet agents. The two is friend with China because they want to maintain their power in Cambodia. China does not care what the two PM's do like violating human rights etc... China is care how to get natural resource from Cambodia. Cambodia is a corrupt government and one party rule. Most small parties in the paper ballots are created and fund by the two men. Cambodia people need to rise up if they want to save Cambodia as Burma, Syrian, and Ukraine people do now. Yes, Hun Sen was a major Khmer Rouge officer during the genocide before turning to the Vietnamese. The CCP has been Cambodia ‘friendly’ for a long time, notably going back to the 1970's supporting the genocidal Khmer Rouge movement lead by Pol Pot, which annihilated the gov. in a brutal Red Guard 'peasant' revolution. Unfortunately, this was precipitated by the illegal destabilizing saturation bombing of northern Cambodia by US forces in a criminal plan pushed by Nixon and Kissinger. Instead of ending the Vietnam disaster, they expanded for electoral advancement, which perpetuated the war and enabled the Khmer Rouge take over. At this point, Cambodia has been decimated by corrupting PRC investments including from massive criminal networks. It has created impactful devastation of their ecology in hydrology and de-forestation.

If you mention how Hun Sen has turned from being anti-Chinese to the current accommodation, all you have to do is look who Cambodia's neighbors are - Vietnam has been a good friend and Cambodians are ever grateful for the VPAs assistance of ridding the country of the Khmer Rouge, but VN has its own issues and national interests and demographically, is five times larger than Cambodia. Thailand has and still does covet Khmer land and is still trying to lay claim to Khmer culture (even building a pathetic "copy" of Angkor Wat).....Cambodia sees China as a counterweight...In any case, looking at Taiwan, who would have thought that the KMT would today be a catspaw for the CCP?
