Wow, I grew up on this guy... He used to play my summer camp Med-O-Lark back in the 90's, I shared a bunk with his kid Ahmen. One of my first musical heroes. His music bring back memories, but his tunes still hold up... One of the all time greats right there.

I came across a taj biography at a record fair looking for blues & motown records, I flicked open the book, he had some history on how some bluesmen got their names, searched some taj music, red the book, he is amazing.
