Even if Dubai is trying to make one still it will be only a hotel without those inscriptions & it won't be monument either. As Shahjahan said & promised there won't be any other 'Taj' in the world no matter how hard you try, we are really very grateful that it is here amongst us in India, we Indians love it & adore it from deep down of our heart ♥ the original the real the one and only 'Taj' 🇮🇳 😍.

Honestly befofe visiting Taj Mahal I was not that impressed when I saw the pictures but when I visited it blew my mind. It was soo huge and soo beautiful. The best part was during the sun set. They were barely any people and it felt like it was just me and Taj Mahal and the beautiful sunset. I cried. I will never forget that moment.

On the inside of the building, the carvings had gems engraved inside them, which were taken out by the British. They used candles to heat and melt the glue that was holding the jewel in those carving. We can see the black smoke marks of those candles around those carvings, which were engraved with precious gems once upon a time. I'd love to go back to the past to see the Taj Mahal in it's original form.

Fun fact : 1)shah jahan the paedophile, sex addict maniac killed Mumtaz Mahal's (taj Mahal was named after her) first husband and forcibly married her. 2)The maniac literally r@ped her to death, she died giving birth to their 14th child. 3)After she died, he apparently retired to his chamber of harems filled with 30,000 Hindu Sex slaves, he spent 5 years doing this debauchery. 4)He also did not spare his eldest daughter, where she was r@ped by this maniac for the simple reason that she "looked liked Mumtaz Mahal", he said and it's his own words "The gardener has every right to taste his own seed" #DISGUSTING. If he was a sex maniac, why no other wife of his has no child of their own except his first two other wife who had only one child each? Cause the marriages was strictly political and he did bother exercising his polygamous rights as it was documented historian of that time.

Its like modern North Korea and Kim Jong Un. We are lucky that we live in a civilized world. Else I can imagine in the world during Kings and Emperors. A beautiful and pretty girl would have cursed her life because every one would violate her. These days pretty girls make tiktoks and get millions of followers lol. 14 kids is nothing new. Aurangazeb, Shah Jahan's son killed all his elder brothers to become the emperor. He even imprisoned his father. It is said Aurangazeb buried Shah Jahan in the Taj Mahal because he did not want to spend more money to build another tomb for his father. The Mughal was on economic crisis due to continuous war and rebellion at that time.

Shah Jahan himself wished to be buried next to the tomb of Mumtaz. During Aurangzeb's rule,India was the wealthiest country in the world. So he did have lots of money to spend on the burial of his father. Rebellions exhausted the mughal treasury much later towards the end of Aurangzeb's rule.

@@shuvamchatterjee8611 Yes, Shah Jahan wished to be buried near Mumtaz but in another tomb. It is said Shah Jahan wanted to build a Taj Mahal like structure opposite the original Taj Mahal and buried in it. But before he could build it, he was imprisoned by Aurangazeb. When Shah Jahan died the Mughals were facing great threat from Shivaji Maharaj and the Marathas due to which a lot of money had to be spend to subdue them. So Aurangazeb did not want to spend more money on a tomb for his father.

There is a hole in the ceiling just above Mumtaz Mahal's tomb and water leaks as droplets whenever it rains, however, no scientists or architects have been able to find its location till now. There is an urban legend that Shah Jahan ordered to chop off hands of 20,000 artisans after the completion of Taj Mahal so that they could never replicate the same design anywhere, and one of the artisans had this is mind beforehand so, he deliberately left a flaw in the ceiling to give Shah Jahan a feeling of incompleteness towards Taj Mahal forever and told it to Shah Jahan later. It is said that even artisans at that time tried to find it but couldn't.

It's India's biggest shame. Shah jahn and his paedophilic rapist dad all the way to aurangzeb had 30,000-100,000 Hindu sex slaves not to mention many temples were destroyed, jizzya (pilgrimage taxes like sharia law enforced). During 1100 brutal Islamic rule, the greatest genocide ever was conducted with reports stating that 50 million to 200 million Hindus were killed, many of them forcibly enslaved mainly women and children and sent as gifts to the shahs of Iran. Please read the book "Islamic Jihad: A Legacy of Forced Conversion, Imperialism, and Slavery" by M. A KHAN, IT'S FREE.

Not British government, it’s a picture of the 1971 war between India and Pakistan to protect it from night strikes by Pakistani Air Force

@John Harper exactly. Don't visit this graveyard. It's literally a monument of human rights violation and anti women. 😶

The untold blood history of Taj Mahal : A letter from EAST INDIA COMAPANY (VOC) says 7.4 million people died at the hands of mughal invasion and destruction if crops at gujurat, malwa, deccan (1630 - 32). When india was facing one of its higgest famines, shah jahan at the same year at 4.18 crores. (41.8 million) A Dam was a bronze coin and it was the daily income an average peasant family of india. 40 bronze dams equaled 1 silver coin. One silver coin fetched 280 kg of rice. Taj mahal was built for 4.80 crores when 7.4 millions of were dying for want of food.

The Minar of Taj Mahal the four pillar are actually leaned little bit outward so in case of earthquake if the Minar falls it's will fall outside not on the building.

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT Nathan!!!!! And your teacher is RIGHT as well, Rachel. The Taj Mahal was built as a "crown palace" centuries before it was supposed to be built by Shah Jahan in the 1600s, by a Hindu Ruler. Shah Jahan's "greatness" is ONLY that he APPROPRIATED the entire Taj Mahal complex from the Hindu ruler of Agra, destroyed/removed all its Hindu features and symbolism, and planted fake graves inside the main building of the complex - the marble structure. His wife is actually buried more than 500 miles away in a place called Burhanpur, and her small mausoleum actually exists even today in Burhanpur. So much for History. Sad that Indian History is largely falsified. From a Proud Indian. Thank you.

You had reacted on one song named Jashn-e-bahara.. There was two leads in that song.. One was Hritik roshan as King Akbar (jalal) ans one was Aishwarya Rai as Jodha.. So the point that.. That the Sharjaha who constructed the Tajmahal was Akbar's grandson. That's it.

On thing missed. 22,000 workers build it. and After completion Shahjahan ordered to cut workers hands off so they can not build it again for someone else.
