Place with worse working environment. HR doesn't care about the well-being of their employees. People treat you inhumanely. I was appointed as shift engineer here, I asked for leave after continuously working for 7 months, for 15 days as it was not only my brother's marriage but also my mom was sick and many other work I had in my hometown which is in Kolkata.. But Chitra Salim who is the GM called for me to meet her the day I had my flight and accused me of things that were not done by me. And told me she can't grant my leave. I requested her to mark LWP but let me go. But she said either stay or leave permanently. And asked me not to give any resignation but just to leave. They also didn't give me my last 15 days of hard-earned money. They made u do 2 shifts at stretch, over time without pay. We were supposed to get 6 weekly offs but they only granted 4. Last year it was red alert at Chennai due to heavy rain & storm but neither HR or GM arranged for any transport for us. Had to do 18hrs of nonstop duty with drenched clothes, and the next day when I got fever GM accused that I'm faking it. I have also worked for Oberoi, the working environment was so nice over there. all executives are well-mannered, HR(Pushpinder Gill) or GM(Sumit Josi) treated employees with respect.
