@@shyshy1027 A basic skin care routine can transform your skin; cleansing, moisturising and sunscreen can do so much. When you follow these 3 steps and use good products you have a great foundation for healthy skin. So from what you have, I would say its cleanser first, then serum and moisturizer. I would also recommend you to get a sunscreen to complete the routine. Use whatever brand you like, mix and match as long as they help your skincare concerns :)✨

I'm a fellow baldie (new to the crew as of last week) + it's allowing me to focus a little less on my hair + a lot more on my skin. my skin had been doing so very well since I went mostly makeup free in 2018 + was being more intentional about caring for it, but I recently broke out so bad! I'm talking huge painful bumps that eventually came to a nasty head. now that I've pretty much drained all of them (ik, not supposed to) I'm trying to fight that scarring again. Taj, You have revived my skin virtually through all your helpful videos! I had really bad hormonal and digestive acne which caused a lot of hyperpigmentation. But, through all of your advice on glycolic retinol pads, niacinamide, and hemp seed oil my skin is finally recovering!!!! i also changed my diet and drink tons of detox water. i hv little bit of hyperpigmentation im still removing but the acne has stopped!!! the african black soap which is being currently sold is not actually african balck soap, the real one is brown and really hydrates you skin and does not strip it... if you want to try that one out there are small bussinesse who sell them on etsy and not for a high price.

Love! For the camera person I would try to have them learn good angles and focusing for better quality. Especially trying not to cut off your head during camera shots as much as possible. I took a photography class in highschool lmao so that’s some of what I learned!

That Apricot Scrub was so harsh that I still have deep pore damage from my teen years (the late 90s). Great skincare was not as accessible and abundant as it is now. I have visibly enlarged pores on my cheeks and broken capillaries on my chin from this junk 😫

Love all the suggestions. Now when it comes to sunscreen, how on earth are we to reapply every 2 hours with makeup on?? I go outside more than once throughout the day. It’s hard to honestly even put sunscreen on my face at all. We’re told to reapply throughout the day? So is sunscreen even really necessary on the face of one wears makeup??

There are some sunscreens that you can put over your face, (Health/skincare wise since I'm not a professional, idk how good they are). Check out Kate Somerville or Supergoop. This isn't a setting spray but Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face or Body Mists work pretty well for reapplication, I use it. At most you may have to powder your face after it sets!

Hi Trina! Thanks for watching! Here’s a secret, you actually don’t need a toner. They’re meant to balance the ph of the skin and nowadays cleansers are usually already ph balanced. I don’t have a favorite “drugstore” toner, I usually grab my Fenty fat water or my laniege cream skin toner if I’m feeling fancy 🤷🏽‍♀️
