It was during the regime of Oommen Chandy, Vizhjam project implemented not with any Rajiv Chandrasekhar or Suresh Gopi. RG and SG have nothing to do with Vizhjam project. Since Vizhjam project of National importance, it will naturally have many infrastructure development around that area. Why is Rc and SG after projects which is nearing completion to fool the people? People knew everything who is who? If Sg and Rc are keen to develop the State, bring New projects for the State and take credits for that.

The location code for the port was given as IN NYY 1. IN stands for India, NYY stands for Neyyatinkara taluk. 1 stands for international port. A good opportunity was lost in branding TVM as the port location. The port, despite being in TVM city corporation, still falls under Neyyatinkara taluk. Sheer ignorance of the procedure resulted in the taluk name featuring in the location code. If the port had been under TVM taluk, the location code would have been IN TVM 1.

Absolutely! TN has good infrastructure and will be able to support the logistics from and to the port of Trivandrum. It is time that we wake up and work towards the development of infrastructure in our city and state. Please dont get me wrong... there is absolutely nothing wrong in TN reaping benefits from the port. we dont need to work against them. WE just need to improve our infrastructure to reap the benefits for our state.

SG has anything to do with Vizhjam project. He was not even in the picture in the beginning of the project as well as the project nearing completion. Vizhjam project is a project of National importance,it is quite natural that many infrastructure development will happen around Vizhjam without any interference of any political entity. I don't know why SG is after projects nearing completion, to take credits? Don't fool the people of the State, work to bring something new to State and take credits Mr.SG.

Maharashtra is going to build a seaport a lot bigger than Vizhinjam. And it will be called Vadhavan Port, which is about hundred kms from Mumbai! And they are not going to call it the Mumbai Port, but they will name it Vadhavan Port! It will have a proposed capacity of 23 million TEU!

Vizhinjam or Thiruvananthapuram, makes no difference, because nobody in this world knows either of those names! People in Kerala somehow think the world knows Thiruvananthapuram or even the name Trivandrum! That's not the case! Nobody outside India even heard of Thiruvananthapuram, so changing name from Vizhinjam to Thiruvananthapuram makes no difference. Everyone can Google these days. Let the world google Vizhinjam and learn!

SG has anything to do with Vizhjam project. He was not even in the picture in the beginning of the project as well as the project nearing completion. Vizhjam project is a project of National importance,it is quite natural that many infrastructure development will happen around Vizhjam without any interference of any political entity. I don't know why SG is after projects nearing completion, to take credits? Don't fool the people of the State, work to bring something new to State and take credits Mr.SG.
