He is fluent and rather knowledgeable of Japanese and Japanese Culture, and wrote Remy's Letter during the Bird Buisness episode. Monty picked him as the guest star on a friend's recommendation of choosing Bosco's friend who is as steeped in Japan culture as Gaijin is.

I know it's way too early to tell, but I think it'd be wild if Greckles got some kind of Rainbow Crow transformation and turned out to be an Aasimar of the Pheonix. Then keeps it secret from everyone else until he has to use his powers to fight off the UCO. Brork would probably have a stroke. And while I like Brork, that sounds like it'd be funny to see happen.

I would suggest having iggy, fluffy, and or willow make special items to combat the elementals while you guys hunt down the ingredients. Water arrows for fire are very simple, can also have the water blessed to fight fiends or undead, and easy to make given the fact that iggy rebuilt a prototype steel predator, and dust of dryness pellets or decanter of endless water if you prefer more magical approach. Water, dust of dryness is good but is a magic item kind of deal and perhaps iggy/fluffy could make some thing less magical but the same. Earth, thunder dmg based items that do double dmg to earth elementals and structures/objects. Air, yay I’ve got nothing for that. Unless you have a homebrew item that sucks in and condenses the surrounding air. Your out of luck.

I agree that it's homebrew. Let's just hope turning it to Fire damage doesn't make the ability completely worthless when they come across the oni. Considering they are headed towards Elemental Planes of Water and Fire, Radiant damage would have been more useful than Fire. I understand it makes thematic sense but I as a player would have went with Radiant damage knowing I was headed to the Elemental Planes.

If I recall correctly, that setting is being run for a "non-televised" group Bosco is a part of but not DM'ing for. What we saw was effectively a spin-off. Of course, Bosco got permission to use it, but I don't think it is his setting to run.
