It broke my heart that she didn’t make is her father Ky is absolutely stunning I can only imagine how she would have turned out. They tried so hard to keep her alive with the veterinary care that they have, a true luxury. Out in the wild there are more calf mortality’s Happening because there’s no veterinary healthcare. I’m so sad that they stopped the Breeding program it was amazing and educational. Takara What is an amazing mother

It would be cool if it's a boy since Takara already has 3 daughters. Trua is her only son, so he really needs a brother xD But when you watch the birth video of the calf you can see seconds before Takara pushed it out what appears to be mammary slits. You have to look really closely it's just for a split second. So I am pretty sure it's another daughter for Takara. btw Kamea is such a cutie

@@horse-lover68 I really unknow other orca situation in captivity with good breending program of killer whales unlike Seaworld , but the truth is Tilikum during years was the only bull male who generate calves , other males like Winston , Orky 2 , Kanduke and Kotar no generate more 1 or 3 calves , sadly the Tilikum calves like Kyuquot , Taku , Nakai , Tuar or Tekoa no making the same
