Q• Why are you uploading cruising videos and renovation videos at the same time.
A• As of October 2021 we have finished our journey to visit every waterway on the connected system but we still have a back lock of videos to edit. For this reason we are uploading a cruising video each week till we finish the journey. In November 2021 we started a project to renovate our Narrowboat and as there was a lot of interest in is filming this we decided to alternate the renovations with the old cruising videos. We also aim to get one renovation video up each week until the cruising videos are finished.
Q• Why do you speed up some of the footage in your videos?
A• We don't, we film it as time-lapse footage. We do not have the battery capacity or data storage to film in real time as our cruises can last up to 7 or 8 hours. We use to the time-lapse footage to help tell the story of movement rather than showcase the scenery. We limit the amount of time-lapse shots we use in each vlog.
Q• Why are your video's so behind?
A• We would love to release all our video's in the same week that we film them but that isn't possible for us. Jo only really has the capacity to edit two video's per week and as we make a video for each cruise that we do and we some times cruise 3 or 4 or 5 times a week we inevitably get behind. We fit in the vlogs around our lives not the other way round.

We have a boat moored in Wheelton on the Leeds Liverpool canal so yeah were doing to hole trip were going to Liverpool at the moment then to Leeds and Then to Liverpool again and then back home we have not done the hole trip for about 3 years

Only someone with a sense of humour could name a marina Willy Watts, wonder what is the worst joke they've heard? A spinning class, a non spinning wheel on a lock, with the proverbial gang of men all studying it intensely, all topped off by scratchy pants... or was it 'plants'. Great video. I love the way you both just deal with whatever happens and George is just George, talk about "Yin Yang" On the down side there was the wheel lock from hell, on the up side you dropped lucky with the EA repairing the damaged lock quite quickly (For the EA) 🤔. The bonus for good Karma was getting through on the phone after hours to book the lock to the Middle levels.👌👍.

Haha, yes, there are a lot of narrowboat vlogs to choose from these days. Thanks for clicking onto ours. Michael might do a video soon to talk about the weight loss as a lot of people ask about it. Nothing to worry about though. He is infinity healthier than he was a few years ago!

A great trip, thanks for sharing it with us, you certainly were lucky with that lock. It looks like you all had a good day. Dont know if you'll be filming it but I used to live by Stanground lock so I might see my house, I now live just outside Benwick. I expect that you'll be passing through so will look out for my house again. I'm worried about Michael, he has lost so much weight and looks ill because of it. This is emphasised by the fact that he gets worn out after doing those wheel locks. Hopefully I'm wrong. Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy them.

We will definitely be passing Stanground in a lock soon. We really liked Benwick when we visited a few years ago. What a lovely place to live. No need to worry about Michael, he is infinitely healthier than he was a few years ago.

Nice video guys, although Michael has done awesomely dropping the amount of weight he has, he doesn't look well and doesn't appear to have the strength he used to have. Is he still omnivore or has gone vegan ? Keep up the great vlogs guys !!❤
