Hands down, spring is also my favorite time of year. Daffs are over but tulips are blooming and are the lilacs as well as azalias. Violets are sprinkled all over. Makes your heart sing. Oh, and the spring bird song is something else in the mornings. Love the columbine. Aw, Binks enjoys a walk with you. Take care.....

My son has a totally black cat he named Binx. I lost my hubby unexpectedly on March 15th and it has been a struggle. But I am thankful he's not suffering anymore and he is in heaven! The greening out in our area seemed to happen overnight! Is it always like that? Maybe I just never noticed before. As you began your walk-about and had a short forgetfulness of the name of one of the plants, I was going to recommend one that has just begun to bloom in my driveway gardenbed...and what would you remember, "columbine', which is what I was going to recommend. Yes, they are a wonderful spring flower and I just love them. I love your 'walk-abouts' and the short exercise is a good way to break up the mothering time.
