My goodness, Vic! I *_love_* this house! Even though it's on the leeward side of Phuket, that doesn't matter to me. The placement of the house, the interior design, and the overall layout are just perfection! *SO* many places to explore and just "be" all over the grounds. What a beautiful place! I especially love the seclusion with no neighbors right on top of you. The way the central atrium/courtyard brings all that light throughout the house is really beautiful! The marble in the master bath is mind-blowing! Imagine having your morning coffee on that balcony overlooking the bay! As for the architectural "styling" ... with the sweeping vistas, big windows, and all the outdoor patios and verandas... I'd have to go with calling it a Manor/Plantation-style home. That's what it looks like to me. And having that lazy Susan on the table outside near the grill is a really neat touch for entertaining or having a big family meal! This one jumped into my top 5 of your tours!

The homes style is borrowed from a colonial design and they have done a masterful job of it... The interior "courtyard" is a lovely touch and reflects the warmth and care the owners have put into this home.. The color palette throughout this home is spot on, really well done. They gave a lot of thought to the functionality and utility of each room and that is rarely the case. This is definitely not the first time they built/designed a home and the new owners will reap the benefits from their expertise. LOTS of thought and planning on the landscape... Provides just the right amount of shading which is another reason the home felt so comfortable, even in the afternoon. I believe adding some video of the home lit up in the evening would really round out your video Victoria

My favourite East Asian, or more specifically Thai, real estate presenter-affectionately introduced as “My name is Victoria”-is back, this time presenting a magnificent villa situated on the hills above Layan Beach in Phuket. The villa’s architecture is a captivating blend of colonial styles, spanning influences from the Bahamas to Indochine. This fusion is further enriched by Mediterranean touches, such as the lion sculptures at the entrance and the Italian and French-inspired steel open-air chairs found in the interiors. The property resonates with my personal preferences, particularly due to the prominent use of bamboo, both in the exterior and architectural details. It also boasts an enchanting interior courtyard, which, with some thoughtful redesign, could effortlessly be transformed into a Moroccan riad-style oasis, complete with vibrant plants, tranquil water pools, and decorative fountains. Victoria, as always, brings her unique charm to the presentation. Her barefoot catwalk adds a natural elegance, and her efforts to sound articulate and knowledgeable about the villa’s features are truly appreciated. While she might benefit from further education on the latest architectural and interior design trends, her approach remains both engaging and sincere. Unfortunately, the online presentation of the villa appears to have lost or deleted some key details, which is regrettable given the property’s exceptional appeal. However, Victoria’s evident admiration for the villa is encouraging-it seems to have captured her approval as well! If I were to own this villa, my first transformation would be to decorate the inner courtyard in the style of a Moroccan riad. I would fill it with lush plants, elegant fountains, and exquisite Moroccan ceramics, creating a serene, timeless retreat. This space would radiate tranquillity, combining vibrant greenery with the gentle sound of flowing water. Downstairs, I’d convert the more sedate apartment into a fully equipped artist’s studio-a creative sanctuary. It would feature a painter’s corner for traditional artistry, alongside a state-of-the-art multimedia setup for video editing, computer work, and audio mixing. A dedicated photography area would complete the space, complete with professional lighting, cameras, video drones, and action cams to bring every creative vision to life. This villa would become my ultimate escape-a secret haven, far removed from the demands of the world. A place of total peace, freedom, and serenity, where inspiration could flow unhindered and creativity would thrive.
