Thank you Irene Campbell for posting this, somewhere in that crowd I was 5 years old and loving every minute of it. Please, anyone, if you gave old movies, post them..let the rest of us as well as you relive our childhood memories...for some of us, these are all we have.

Ohh man I remember the salt water pool. I used to piss in it all the time. My step brother dropped a floater in it once.

I'm too young to have experienced Rocky Point at this time, but it looks like it was a pretty cool park, especially for the time. If the park were ever to be replicated (it won't of course), I hope it's done like this.

Finally, some footage of the park's original House of Horrors which debuted in 1948 as Laff In The Dark. This is the ride that bcame JungleLand in 1963.

it is really sad that the amusement park business is gone. the only family amusement parks that really exist now is Six Flags, and they are a bit far.
@brazillo194 жыл бұрын
No, Six Flags is not an amusement park but a theme park. Canabie Lake and Lake Compounce are amusement parks, still left in New England.

There's Disneyland but in either direction its too far and very expensive...so much so that it ruins the amusement part of the title.

this is...actually kind of depressing for me. It's gone and unless there's a miracle it's not coming back. >_
