Use to miss pitches in the batting cages outside waiting for the park to open. Fond memories of the flume, the salt water pool, the Musik Express blaring Jumping' Jack Flash, the neon-painted House of Horrors, the Shore Dinner Hall and all of the concerts that were held here. Mom would spend most of her time in Fascination. What an awesome place. Went back in 2020 and can't believe all of that was crammed into the space.

I remember going to Rocky point! Wow! Such fun memories! I was living in an eggshell. My best friend was popcorn and we loved riding out bikes to Rocky Point! My uncle, Big Paul was in the Air Force in 1982! 😋🥰🕵️‍♂️

I don't really know how many time I went to Rocky Point, I would say it is well beyond 100. My friends and I would wait for this commercial to make its annual appearance. We knew that was the start of Summer fun and endless days at Rocky Point. What a shame that kids today will never know the joy of Rocky Point.

It was the absolute best! The flume and the view and the tiny crunchy delicious clam cakes. The tickets for the rides, and the rush and shake of the old wooden roller coaster. And when you were out of tickets but wanted to ride again the ride attendant would say “ok kid..one more time!” It was so much fun.

I lived in CT at the time, about half way between Rocky Point and Riverside. When we wanted to go to an amusement park it was no contest. Rocky Point was our park of choice.

I was lucky enough to share this park with my son before it closed. He doesn't remember it unfortunately (he was 5 when they closed). I really miss this park and having an exciting place to have a family outing in Rhode Island.

Girlstorm - Although I had heard of Rocky Point, I never was able to make it there...Been to Cedar Point many times, though... Who knows? Maybe in another instance of time Cedar Fair (parent company of CP) might've been able to buy Rocky Point and save it from the money grubbing cutthroats that inevitably drove it into the ground...
