I wouldn't mind relocating to the twin cities area, specifically Plymouth or Excelsior. Seattle and the surrounding suburbs have become outrageously expensive and crime has gotten out of control. I can handle frigid winters as I used to live in southern NY for a spell. I actually kind of miss it. Just ready to start a whole new chapter in my life and embrace this beautiful city that is Minneapolis.

Enjoyed watching your videos about various places in Minnesota. I'm working on a deal for an opportunity in Big Lake but would like to live in a well established neighborhood that's a little closer to the Metro. I've been looking at Maple Grove and now Plymouth, considering winter driving. The primarily reason is due to lifestyle. I don’t think Big Lake area is sufficient enough to offer me all things that I enjoy in life after work such as dining options in great restaurants (not chain restaurants), exercise gym/park/ski, entertainment, shopping, arts and crafts, golfing-social club, etc. Your thoughts!

Thanks for watching B K. I would agree with you overall. Big Lake isn't too far from the metro area, but it really doesn't lend itself to nightlife, restaurants, and activities that you can find closer to the city. A smaller commute to areas like Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Champlin allow you to be closer to the action and still not have to make a long trek to Big Lake.

How did you leave United Health/OPTUM off of top employers in plymouth? Only the 4th largest company in the United States... but you got the pizza place right.

United Health is technically located in Minnetonka. Optum in Eden Prairie. Regardless, the west side of Twin Cities is loaded with big time employers. Now you got me thinking LaTuff's for dinner tonight...thanks!
