Just moved from my townhouse in Blaine to a new construction in Blaine. Love it here. It’s just far enough away from the cities to get away from all the crime, but it’s just close enough to not have a super long commute to work. The traffic like you said has gotten much worse. I think the population has almost doubled since I originally moved here.

Just a side note. Burnsville Mall is ghost town, most of the stores there have closed down.

More on Bloomington: Crime is largely rooted in and around the Mall of America, which naturally brings about higher crime stats. Also I’d say a lot of 50s and 60s homes are near Richfield and East Blooomington. Meanwhile central and west Bloomington have the custom 70s+ homes. West Bloomington is an absolutely desirable area and more affluent.

Do I have firsthand experience personally living in every one of the neighborhoods/cities in the 35 mile radius I serve - no. Have I lived in and worked all around the Twin Cities for the last 15+ years and do I sell twice as many homes around the metro as the average agent every year? Yes, yes I do. Cheers. 🍻
