hey wooting, so im thinking to buy a wooting two, but i dont like the 60% keyboard (for my soundboard) and the full size is a little bit to big. can you make one like the apex pro TKL (so no extra numberpad but you have the m1 m2... and all the f1 f2 etc buttons?

ISO comes without keycaps installed, but the set is only in ANSI right now😅 We will have a different type of option for ANSI without keycaps in the future. We pre-install the base keycaps as it serves 80% and is the most cost effective for them. We are avoiding too much variations until we can meet current demand and hold it.

We intend to do more now that we've done 1 round. We can followup next versions faster and better, such as finding a way to get ISO compatibility in the same set. (very difficult with the lines!)

Hello Wooting. I just received my Take Control keycaps and installed them on my Wooting 60HE. Is that normal that they are lower in height compared to the stock PBT keycaps? Or I received a faulty set?

This is correct, it's called Cherry profile, or low profile.

I'm afraid it's missing a few of the ISO keys which will make it incomplete. We struggled to move forward with ISO on these due to languages and convenient way to combine them, but usually support it with launches.

Please make bottom lasered/etched legends blacked out pbt keycaps. No company makes these and it would be super unique. The closest we can currently get to this are Razers phantom keycaps but those are abs and have an ugly half pudding side glow design. Also please look into making a wireless 60HE im pretty sure there are a lot of gammers who want these two items from you guys! PBT is opaque though? Razer's Phantom keycaps are ABS. What you're asking for would be POM, not PBT. :)

@@amshermansen no if you laser etch the bottom of the keycap light will still shine through an opaque material. Like a flashlight under a piece of paper.

That is not accurate at all. Razer just moved the ABS paint finish to the underside of the keycap (and then lasered it off) rather than doing it on the surface, where your fingers will rub it off over time.

@@amshermansen regular shine through pbt caps suffer from light bleed. Instead of having clear legends on a PBT set, laser the letters very thin from the underside of the keycap. ABS is a material, not a finish, and POM is unnecessary to achieve an all black keycap that has legends when backlit.

You wanted PBT. PBT does not do transparent - even if attacked by a laser etcher. This is why PBT keycaps rely on POM for transparent legends.
