All wrist rest materials have their drawbacks. Silicon you can’t actually clean just rinse, any chemicals and you begin to break it down. Epoxy holds wrist prints/sweat and will yellow. Plastic would fare similar to keycaps and get shiny. They’re all wear items

I hate to be that 🤓 guy, but carton and cardboard aren't actually interchangeable, cardboard is the material itself and carton is a box or container that is most often made out of cardboard.

I used to have the glorious one. After a couple months it snapped in half 💀I dont even know how. Then I switched to a razer one, that one became so dusty. When i switched to this one i became a gigachad gamer, i will use this for the rest of eternity. I still dont have the wooting 60he because I am poor. Thank you Wooting.

Silicone just doesn't feel good, especially when I'm resting in it for hours. Id much rather just clean cloth to the best of my ability than use cheap leather or silicone. My hyperx rest stays cool and feels great Everytime I use it

The wooting silicon is good but it does get glossy because it too is impossible to clean thoroughly. Make a PBT wrist rest.
