I just used a $14.00 neoprene thick large kitchen mat. I use the same mat for my floor with my Mac toolbox 🧰 in the garage floor [ used same machine screws] 1 min installed. Done and done.

I like that idea! I bought those square mats that fit together like puzzle pieces. Spent $20 and did the whole bed, plus the tailgate!

$400 WTF. You can make your own most likely for $30. You can use doubled sided extra strong Velcro Strips by 3 M.

Excellent actually. However, I will preface that by telling you my truck is garage kept. Also though. The 3M trim tape it come with is rather robust.
