my first kit lens was Fujifilm's 15-45mm f3.5-5.6 and later I bought 7artisans 50mm f1.8. which I just sold for Tamron 17-70mm F2.8, but that kitlens duo- zoom with prime lens just kickstarted my photography journey, without it, I could've to wait few more months because it became out of budget, but that lens had me learn photography basics, exposure triangle, I even shot one of the coolest pics, many are my favorites, so yeahh, they're really useful for the price you pay for! I would still miss those lenses as they've done great job so far!!

@@SiddharthJogi Many thanks for your comments and telling us about your journey with kit lenses. It is so good to hear other people's experiences. Kit lenses really are so useful and flexible. Especially for learning the basics because you have to get the best out of what they offer. For my Panasonic Lumix S5 I have of course, the 20-60mm F3.5 - F5.6 kit lens which I used in the video and which I love. I also have the 85mm F1.8 prime and the 50mm F1.8 prime but my kit lens spends more time on my camera than the other lenses. Keep watching! Take care and be safe. Andy

@@leandromartinsdub Many thanks for your comment Leandro. I hope you found the video interesting. It has only been published for a day and a half so far. The views are increasing! Please feel free to share it with any of your friends and family that may find it interesting or useful or with any photography groups which you are a member of. I think it is important to embrace our kit lenses and not feel self conscious that we may not have the "latest and greatest" lens in the market. Photography is all about creating images that we like and I know that we can do that using a kit lens. Keep watching. Take care and be safe. Andy
