James just made a great point of Michael Oliver having a great outing refing the game against Villa few weeks back…which lends credence to the fact that Oliver can be a decent referee except he’s officiating a City match. You can count half a dozen games involving other clubs that he has tipped the scale in favor of City with some scandalous decisions. Someone really needs to start looking at this situation more closely!

@James not that you are here, but the rule should be if it's a free kick for Arsenal, then Man city MAY NOT touch the ball at all, leave the ball and have to immediately retreat to defend, therefore the likes of Doku would get a yellow even if he is judged to kick the ball in the direction of where the freekick should be taken...

It's an unbelievable defensive display but no matter how much I try and tell myself I'm glad with the point-Im kidding myself. Im devastated. And psychologically I worry how we respond. The sending off was the best thing that could have happened for us. 11 vs 11 open game, we are not strong up top in the grand scheme of things… “could have opened up” This way, we had one sole focus…and basically we did the job, obviously gutted at last min goal, but most would take a point prior to the game. Good start all things considered.
