I play a Magic the Gathering Online Legacy league with Mono-Black Court of Ambition Pox, a deck from Patreon subscriber Rage. This deck takes the fan-favorite Pox strategy and strips away any fancy new Life from the Loam or Urza's Saga engines to just play DISCARD and SINKHOLE and POX and LILIANA like GARFIELD INTENDED. The one hot new(er) spice is Court of Ambition. It's risky if your opponent could take the Monarch, but it slams the door closed on a stable board. Take them to court! MTG

Very good games, very enjoyable. But I'd argue over deck construction. (this isn't new, it's like Nic Fit - every deck is different, and every player will argue endlessly about any given build) First, no Nether Spirit? A single Nether Spirit feels very free. Castle entering tapped is expensive, especially with only 2 Urborg. Pox is a mono black deck that often struggles to cast BB spells, so although Castle is great late game I'd be nervous running more than one, especially with a Tak. Court performed wonderfully. Every time Pox resolves a 2BB spell it's generally game, and that proved it. However sideboard looks like it's a MODO sideboard. By that I mean it's a "look at these cards I can run that I can't afford in paper" sideboard. (Abyss, Nether Void, Chains) As good as those cards are, they often are nowhere near as impactful as you want them to be. They can sometimes lock down games but with the speed today it's a very different Legacy to 2014, sadly. 4 Leyline, probably too much. There should be some Surgical Extraction, Extirpate, Faerie Macabre to balance that out. An old plan was to run 4x Dark Confidant in the Sideboard for the matchups you needed to race, and there didn't seem to be any real SB options to allow that. But that's the tradeoff - you always have to choose which decks you'll lose to. All in all, wonderful deck, clearly a talented brewer, good piloting by Bosh, love seeing Pox. Again, please don't see any malice in my quibbling about slots - no two Pox decks are the same and everyone will disagree forever, it's the nature of the deck, buts that's the joy of running some fringe archetype - expressing yourself through card choices.

Fun deck! I always love seeing people go the shadow realm with Pox. Pretty sure you missed an opportunity to trade a Mishra's Factory for an Urza's Saga construct, because you forgot about the second special ability of Mishra's Factory - the ability to tap a Factory to give target Assembly-Worker +1/+1 until EOT. You could do that with both, making them both 3/3s and thus allowing you to kill the 5/5 construct and keep one factory. That might have made the difference that game.

Dark ritual always looks so clunky in these lists because while its important for the turn 1 trade it becomes bad right after that. I wonder if there be any other good 1 drop that has enough of a dread to warrant expending precious mana on from the opponent or redraw some cards down the line like a bag of holding. If you play any hand without a ritual in it your chance to draw them and then not being able to use them increase until it happens so when you are grinding out your opponent you screw over long term top decking for 1 time turn 1 burst.

Is there a reason to play LotLH instead of Bowmasters? The meta has few X/1s because Bowmasters and the 2 bodies + draw punish feels more relevant

I believe its both because you dont sacrifice planeswalkers to smallpox, and last hope ultimate is also usually a win con, sometimes the only win con beyond frustration. In a deck so light on hard win cons its use as both removal and a win is valuable.
