There are times where i’m extremely happy with her then remember everything she has done. Also at times incredibly happy only to find out someone has been flirting with her and she has never told me; i feel i can change her i’m not giving up on her just yet.

Girls are just young humans like everyone else no matter how “pretty” or “smart” they are and they, like everyone else, have to figure everything out on their own. No one is taught the stuff that really matters like self respect, self awareness, relationship skills, healthy relationships, self care, mental health skills, etc. And schools just teach basic sex ed which is basically just mechanics and contraception - oh yeah, and abstinence (which works really great (massive sarcasm) for young people who are lonely and inexperienced at “life” - which are most young people. EDIT: abstinence absolutely DOES work great in fact I TOTALLY TOTALLY recommend it as being the best thing for girls AND guys. What I was trying to say here is that young girls / women if they’re lonely (and MOST IMPORTANTLY: ALONE - WITH NO ONE TRULY HELPFUL, SAFE, AND USEFUL TO TALK TO) and sad and insecure and scared and worried about life and the future too easily give into all the unthinking except for one thing single minded jerks around them trying very persistently to get in their pants, who the women let into their lives and they give into sex with to keep around a jerk because it feels like life would be even more lonely without the jerk. When really, the women have more, real, and better options that they’re unaware of (or at least maybe drowned out amidst all the noise of the social pressure to be in a “couple”) that are so much better: 1) single life and work on yourself first to feel whole and fulfilled with yourself and your life / career / work / goals, 2) boyfriend who is good for you and vice versa and not bad - ie: a healthy relationship, 3) being in a healthy relationship with mutual respect, positivity and growth AND abstinence (the best option because that way you’re really taking care of each other (and potentially the other not yet born human/s involved) in that there’s no worry of unwanted / unplanned pregnancy).
@jjthehuman8824 жыл бұрын
Yep. I gave up boys and tried girls, so much better
@lauravergot99954 жыл бұрын
@@thealbanianlorg6542 abstinence actually works great as long as you keep yourself busy, especially with things that give you meaning. Sports, running, reading volunteering..... The last two in particular can help you figure out all the things you say are missing from school. Volunteering or being part of a healthy group helps you make healthy attachments and navigate relationships of all kinds; if you are not alone you will not go desperately searching for sex and relationships you are not ready for. And if you are truly that horny, work and exercise work like a charm at getting rid of all that pent up energy. So you see, there are plenty of ways to practice continence and not become a slave to your desires, especially when you are not ready for the consequences.

Vpo She didn’t “stand up” to her boyfriend when he demanded she get an abortion against her will, and she was only offered one “choice” at the abortion clinic that she didn’t even want in the first place (and slightly regretted right after going through with it). So unless you can point out otherwise, nowhere did she “stand up for herself”, nor did she “make her own educated choices.” Her “choice” to abort was ultimately made by someone else, and she was only “educated” on one choice.

How many times do you need to break up with someone for them to get the picture? Finally got a restraining order. Best decision of my life. Now I'm married to a great, loyal, gentle man and I just finished my masters degree. Sometimes its hard to leave an abusive relationship people, it takes on average 7 tries...its ok forgive yourself. It took me 40 tries. Even if he isnt physically abusive they can be emotionally or verbally or just controlling. It's still abuse. Yeah, that's what not having self-control gets you. When the pheromones click and the geometry is appealing, you'll find any excuse to make it work, because ultimately the future offspring are more valuable than either of the parents. I gave it my all the explain the things I felt and why I did what I did without hurting him, but of course he couldn't even hear me. He got so ridiculously angry that I felt scared. He turned into a person I'd never seen before. I didn't know what he'd do, but luckily he got through it. I still hate that I hurt him, but I know we weren't good together, especially after I saw the scary person he can become, and the irrational things he says and does. I would have been touched if she had given the baby to someone who IS ready for a baby, but can't have one. 1 in 7 couples struggle with infertility and 1 in 10 women are infertile. With men infertility can be fixed for the price of a play boy, a cup, and a turkey baster. For women it costs AT LEAST 4,000.00. It often doesn't work the first time and most other ways are 11,000.00 at the minimum for IVF. Plus most people want more than one kid and the waiting lists for the 4k one has waiting lists that go on for YEARS. Also there is the medications and not one part of it is covered by ANY insurance unless they are forced to and even then they often don't pay. She was selfish and she didn't make the decision herself. Her boyfriend made it for her.

@@thechosenone9769 you know how many babies turn into adults without ever being adopted? Have you lived through the foster care system or in a children's home. Do you know how many of those babies will grow up and get raped, abused, murder, or commit suicide? Before you go blaring your "adoption is a choice" bullshit just look into the life of a child who has been given up for adoption. Most of them turn into adults and are never adopted. Try looking up the story of the couple who adopted all siblings and abused them and even after DCF investigated them, they allowed the couple to have the children. The couple drugged the children and drove off a cliff killing all of them. So those children suffered a life time of misery and were murdered. There's adoption. So every time a child in the system is raped, abused, or murderd and you're still pushing "there's adoption", that blood of those children will be on your hands.

Hosenda Likento every time you say adoption is a bad choice, the blood of those unborn babies will be on *your* hands.

@@mellocheers9062 you know, first you would have to define at which point a clump of multiplying cells, much like a tumor that can also grow teeth and hair, is a baby. Much like cutting off a mole. Is the mole a part of your body like a arm or leg? Just a clump of cells, but you wouldn't call it an arm or a leg yet. Just like a clump of cells is not a baby. Maybe stop imagining it as a full term baby. I am talking legal abortion. Not riping a full term living being out of a uterus and throwing it at a wall and calling it an abortion. If you have never been that child clinging to their blanket wishing for death than having a full grown adult crawl into your bed time and time again to take your innocence than you can not praise adoption. If you have never been that starving child sleeping on the cold floor as your guardian buys designer clothes with the money they got from the state that was supposed to pay for you care, than you can not praise adoption. Never forget the little boy who died cold and alone in a park after his mother grew frustrated with him, smacked his head which hit a wall, left the child bleeding and seizing all night, dumped him, and said some black guy took off with the child. She clearly stated she wasn't ready for him and now because of abortion bans and abortion shaming many more actually alive and feeling living beings will be forced to actually suffer. People have abortions because they are not capable parents and if cutting out a clump of cells is blood on my hands for a few seconds instead of ENTIRE LIFE TIMES of misery, pain, self loathing, and suicide attempts, then so be it.

And feeding a baby is very inexpensive, especially since they drink only your breast milk for a while which is free. Everyone can afford to feed a baby (especially if they can afford birth control). Second let's pretend that in some crazy world they literally couldn't afford to feed the baby. Then you find a way for that baby to survive, you give it up for adoption, sacrifice your own meals, do whatever you have to do. If I had clairvoyant powers and knew one year from now you will be stranded on a deserted island with very little to eat, should I *MURDER* you to save you from your future suffering? However, on the other hand, they were in a relationship.BUT, she was on the pill, implying they never wanted kids at that time. Going off the pill (or forgetting in this case) was her responsibility. Why, I must remember to take my pills otherwise I die next week. Not taking your pill = possible pregnancy (and men walking out as it was never agree upon...consent remember?)

Congrat's on the baby! I'm 22 weeks pregnant today with twins! I guess you are quite far along by now! Oh you don't wanna have a abortion at 19 weeks. Baby can feel pain at that stage and the procedure is breaking baby into pieces. Best to do it before 9 weeks to avoid that procedure and get the drug one which basically gives you a miscarriage which tbh is better than pulling parts off a baby. I've had a abortion at 8 weeks pregnant 6 years ago.. It was twins. Horrible time. I don't regret it tho. I'm really thankful i spotted it early enough for the drug abortion and early enough that the baby cannot feel pain.

He was a drug trafficking abusive manipulative person. I tell her that I will one day find her a good dad because that’s what she deserves. She’s 7 now and sometimes I wonder if that will happen or not since I’m still single but I figure it’s hell of a lot better than being in an abusive relationship. Anyway my daughter is ok and she never asks about her “sperm donor” anymore. I don’t know how else to put it as I don’t consider him a “dad” in any sense. Anyway she is loved and happy by me, her grandma and her uncles and aunt and that’s all that matters :)

I know it’s hard for young teenagers to decide especially if the dad is not the best person. I will support you on any choice you make. I may be young but I know what it’s like. So when my dad was in Mexico we were extremely poor my mom barely having enough money to feed us. I don’t really remember any of this since I was so little I remember getting things for Christmas and for my birthday. I would’ve never believed we were poor. My mom told me about this a few years ago because I asked about it. She said she would put my Christmas presents and my birthday presents on layaway for a whole year. udhwsewbcjefbcjekrbcf this is making me tear up. My mom went through something very similar. She fell in love with someone she knew wasn't gonna marry, and accidents happened and she got pregnant. She was young and didn't have the financial needs or the partner to have a child with. She has never directly told me the words "I had an abortion", but she told me killing a life inside her was the worst day of her life. She told me this because even though she said it's something she would never want to relive and it's far from easy, it was necessary for her to do so she could live a better life. And she does. I'm glad to say her sacrifice gave her the opportunity to meet my dad who she's still with today, and have me and my brother grow up in not a perfect family, but a much better one than what could of been. It was really hard for her to tell me that story. Even today she can't outright say the words of what she had done. But she told it to me so I could know that the people who say it's simple and easy have no idea what they're talking about and if I got myself into that situation, that there's always another choice. edit: there's some people that are using my story to say that abortion is either 100% evil or the answer to everything. Please don't, it's neither. My mom is pro-choice. Her abortion is actually the reason she still is today. Her point was it was hard for her, but she's glad she did it. It was her decision. She told me this so I could know the costs of both sides. Both sides can end painfully, and both sides have the potential to end well, but her path was just a little more successful than what would of probably happened. Seriously, she was in a really bad place to have a kid. It's not black and white. Either way, no one should force you to keep or abort your baby, it's your choice. Please don't twist my story.
@CoffeeGyrl6667 жыл бұрын
DADADA You completely missed the point of the story that she went on to find a good father for her children and raise a family from a more healthy and secure place than crippling poverty that shortens life expectancy of both mother and child.
@clevernickname80957 жыл бұрын
Please stop twisting my words. My mom felt awful afterwards, but she doesn't regret her choices. If her child developed into a full person it could of died from a number of different factors because of the environment she was in or grow to be a very damaged person. She told me this story so I could know how life could turn out for her. She trusted her gut, and her life is better because of it. That's just the facts. While what is considered alive is a rocky road, I personally don't think a baby is truly human-ish until later pregnancy. Believe what you want to believe, but don't twist my words. My mother did what she did and she has a better life because of it. It was hard, but she doesn't regret it. It is a huge moral issue, I don't disagree. But please don't use my mother's story to guilt trip others into choosing an option that could be a huge mistake. If you disagree with me, fine. But please stop arguing. What has happened has already happened, and I told my story to show what could happen, not force my opinion down someone's throat. It should be their choice to get an abortion or not

This reminds me so much of when I ended up pregnant in an emotionally abusive relationship. I was 19. I got in the shower one morning and when the water hit them, my nipples felt like they were on fire! I jumped back and changed the shower head setting to big raindrops. Anyway, judging by my boyfriend's past, I had an inkling that he would not take it well. I waited a week to tell him. That night he was going to pick me up and I planned to tell him, but I was sitting on my couch waiting. My phone rang and I stood up to get it out of my pocket and I felt gush of blood come out of me. I panicked I had no choice but to tell my dad and ask him to drive me to the ER. I told my boyfriend that I was in the hospital and I apologized for this being they way to find all of this out. His response? A text. "Call me when you're released home. I will tell my parents you are not able to come over tonight." I spent about 24 hrs in the hospital in pain, crying, I got a d&c. My dad and sister stayed by my side. My boyfriend never once even asked if I wanted him there.... From that point on, my family held grudge against him and rightfully so. We went on dating about a yr longer. Our fights always centered around him not having money to take me on dates anymore but he would have "bestie dates" with his friend Laura. If it wasn't that then it was me trying to drown my resentment for him leaving me high and dry and acting as though the traumatic miscarriage never happened. If a miscarriage wasn't enough to come see me, then what would it take? A coma from a car accident?? I didn't understand. He never took responsibility for a single thing. It took a couple of months for me to realize that he is who he is and we had no business being together I chose happiness. And that meant excusing myself from his life. Now I have a 1 yr old and the best husband/father one could hope to have. He's not perfect. He makes messes and is sometimes a homebody. But I never have to fear that he is lying to me, cheating and when I wound up pregnant 6 mos into our marriage, he didn't leave. That was my biggest fear.

I was vehemently pro-life but then I had a dream I became pregnant. That feeling of absolute terror and wanting it to just be over had me consider having an abortion. When I woke up I realized that not everything is black and white like I assumed.
@sarvin44716 жыл бұрын
Shay Field wow. I feel like maybe, just maybe, that dream was a wake up call? Haha get it? I like the pun in that. But really, I feel like it happened so you could become more open minded. It is a hard thing to make you mind up about if you have never gone through it yourself. And even then, you would still second guess yourself and feel bad for your opinion.

Shay Field So you would knowingly take away a baby’s life because you’re terrified of the state pregnancy puts you in? I’m sorry, but I can’t see that as anything more than selfish and pathetic. You don’t even have to worry about becoming a parent since a perfectly viable solution would be to just put the baby up for adoption.

Same thing happened to me! I take the pill everyday but i thought i was pregnant at one moment and was scared to death. Then i found out both my mother and aunt had abortions at 16 and 18, and that made me feel reassured. But i never judged anyone for having an abortion, it's such a sad and terrifying thing to do.

I think I owe women [who have had abortions] an apology. I used to be pro life, but now that I think of it, the ONLY reason why I was like that was because of emotion, ignorance, and internalized sexism.

@timstarkey36924 жыл бұрын
@@vincentfrimpong4249 I disagree, it's just a blob. Would it be better to just let it pass when it couldn't feel anything, when you couldn't feel anything than to have it grow up in a loveless home, possibly abused maybe in a bad financial situation meaning that they'd be hungry and have dirty clothes, possibly knowing that your not wanted, not needed an accident that couldn't be rectified? What if the mother was a young girl? Do you except a 13/14 year old to go through that? What if their a rape victim? It's not murder.

Leslie Lights Not every pregnancy is a result of consensual sex. There are still places in this world where raped/abused women are forced to give birth to their rapist's children.
@lovepower48997 жыл бұрын
forced abortion is also a problem. 64% of abortions are forced or coerced . Thats just as bad as being forced to give birth (which is a far less statistic).
