Super cool video Ryan! Great tips! Love playing with aspect ratio. I been a fan of looking back at older films and seeing the evolution of the camera and films from the early 1900-1920s. Absolutely! I think you would be fascinated with the old Bolex cameras I've been using for the past few months to record a lot of my short films for my program. It's so much fun using it paired with black and white kodak film; the tangible feeling of having the negative (and print) of your film in your hands, it makes it almost like a work of art. And the fact a camera which is so mechanical, uses no technology to capture its picture, is amazing to me. It definitely is intersting and has some magic to it. I will consider making a video on the Bolex, but I want to think of something creative first. In terms of tip #12, you are so right!!! Always gotta have fun, otherwise whats the point!
