Is this good for street photography? Day & night photography. Can you make a video about it?
@ryandobalКүн бұрын
@@oh_naur For street photography more specifically at night you would be better off with a larger sensor camera with a larger aperture. As a budget option, a used DSLR with a stabilized 50mm lens would be a great choice. For example, a used Sony A6000 with the Sony E 50mm 1.8 OSS would be able to capture stunning images during the day AND night for street photography. You don't get the benefit of the super zoom with this, however, the difference in quality would be drastic and it'll force you to get creative with composition without that zoom :)

Running my 70D with a Tamron 24-70mm. Yeah, it's not the best lens for a crop sensor camera but I love running around with the two.

I bought a mini 3 because I need a drone that can stay longest in the air. I heard that Mini 3 pro due to its sensors can't stay the same amount of time in the air.

Cool video Ryan! Never got into drones, but your enthusiasm is quite contagious. I know here in the states is can be a bit complex to know what kind of drones are required to have license. Each town can have different regulations. Regardless, always good to see your work flow! Thanks for sharing!
@ryandobal5 күн бұрын
That is very true, and it is important to check with regulations especially when you're travelling to make sure you aren't breaking any laws. Glad you sticked around, my friend :)

Neat find. Although listed in an article from Engadget and the defunct LetsGoDigital site in October of 2006, the camera seems to have been around since at least August 2005 in its Coolshot guise. The Braun D310 is a badge camera probably produced by Premier, a Taiwanese company, that did a lot of original manufacturing for many companies. The D310 is also known as the Revue DC340, Praktica Mini 3.2, or Coolshot DS3580 with the Braun/Revue/Praktica being European market as those were recognizable names in that market whereas the Coolshot seems to be the generic Asian "parent". I wouldn't be surprised if the Vivitar did a Vivicam version of this as well. Glad you were able to review it as yours seems to be the only one out there!

I think it's a great budget option! I shot a test short film with the Canon Rebel T6i, which is arguably worse. It still turned out in my opinion so if that was able to do it, the 70d can. Here's the video back when I did that kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2Wpepacf9psqa8si=vzsndIyWPkA1uNo-

Wow! 2 videos in a week! Awesome work Ryan! Very helpful information! Just curious if a 360 camera would be a good add on. I seen many virtual tours of houses with 360 images and video! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your passion for both commercial and recreational video and photography!
@ryandobal22 күн бұрын
Haha yes I've been on a bit of a grind that week! Glad you enjoyed the video! A 360 camera could definitely be a great future add on, but I don't really have any experience using them so I didn't want to talk on something I can't relate to. But you are definitely right, I have seen them all over MLS and I'm sure the highest end of real estate photographers do offer it as an option. I have to dig more into this, I wonder how they do it :)

No way!!! 2024 is just a year to be buying 10 year old cams haha!! So interested, what did you end up picking up? Definitely feels better to have a camera which wouldn't be the end of the world if anything happened to it! Thank you for watching :)

@@ryandobal Been exploring the less than popular bridge cameras. I have 2 Pentax bridges now, the X-5 and the XG-1 Really enjoy the X-5 due to the tilt screen and EVF. the XG-1 does not have a tilt screen, both are 16mp, one with a 26x optical, the other a 52x :)

I use a great case, but really dislike screen protectors. I always keep my phone in a pocket with nothing else, and it’s been over 6 months now and not 1 scratch on the screen. My previous iPhone did end up with a few scratches on the screen but I think I accidentally also put my keys in the same pocket.
@AcaYT10 күн бұрын
Are you also using 14 Pro? Im thinking about taking off my screen protector but im not really sure, used every phone without any protection and never got any problems because im careful but im scared about this one cause people say it scratches. What’s your opinion after this time?
@MrSamoDude8 күн бұрын
@@AcaYT I’m using a 15 Pro Max, previous a 12 Pro Max and a Samsung Galaxy before that. Since at least the 12, Apple have used Ceramic Shield glass which is very similar to gorilla glass used by Samsung’s, both made by the same company. If you’re the kind of person who looks after their phone and doesn’t put it in a pocket or bag with metal objects or grit/sand then you should be fine. I’ve not scratched my current phone at all but I am really careful, and I much prefer interacting with them without another layer of glass or plastic in the way. My previous 2 phones did end up with a few minor scratches, but neither were visible or noticeable during use. I think they came from when I accidentally put a key in the same pocket, and when I kept my work phone in the same pocket and its camera bump pushed up against my iPhone screen. I now don’t put anything in my pocket where my iPhone is kept and so far so good. The only other concern is if you are the kind of person who may drop it, obviously a screen protector would help if the lip of a case isn’t deep enough to prevent the screen hitting gravel etc. I personally use a point and shoot camera strap tethered to my Mous case, mainly for when taking photos, but that helps prevent it from hitting the floor if I were to accidentally drop it.

Did that with my 14 pro, this week traded it in for a oneplus. It had 3 scratches on the screen and i've only had the phone for about 10 months. I was relatively gentle with it too but I guess it just doesn't matter. i have a case and screen protector on my oneplus and don't plan on buying an iphone again any time soon.
