Yes, D'Ernest Johnson was great. He deserves to be splitting time with Hunt and Chubb as they are both injured now, which indicates they are on the field too often. I think both Hunt and Chubb will play better with D'Ernest getting more carries.

An aging journeyman QB with a dead arm went in and executed the same plays Baker does and relied on the running game to get the job done.

I am glad that the Browns won the game, but it was an unimpressive win. They should have been more dominant on defense in this game. I would have liked to see more QB sacks by that defensive line.

I would say the defense played a nice soft prevent that worked to kill the clock, but didn't finish those third downs in the red zone. The offense played a possession game and Case missed the big shots to blow this game wide open, but played admirably.

Just don’t ask Case to throw over 10 yds. Man any ball over that takes forever to get there. That deep pass to OBJ that was almost picked is my biggest scare about his noodle arm. He’s a manager vs bad teams. If u think he’s gonna go out and win games if the D is giving up anything over 21 pts then ur crazy. Even in 17 when he went 11-3 he had 2 number 1 receivers that are better than OBJ and Landry,Cook and the defense for Minnesota was 1st in points allowed per game only allowing 15.8 ppg. He needs a defense that doesn’t allow the other team to score cuz es not gonna do much of that himself. I noticed Stefanski only threw it deep a handful of times just to keep the defense honest. Johnson was the star hands down. I complained last week cuz they didn’t use him until Hunt got hurt. Johnson has a lot of Chubb and Hunt traits. He’s more of a every down back than Hunt in my opinion. Mainly because his vision is like Chubbs. Denver stuffed the line on a lot of those plays but he saw the outside open up,turned and went. Stefanski was still pretty predictable and of course OBJ still can’t catch or run a route. This is why Baker doesn’t throw to him. Why would u when he’s never where he’s supposed to be and can’t be trusted to catch the ball. He’s a great blocker and decoy tho. I do think things would get better if Baker could get both him and Landry on the field at the same time.

Keemun seems to have a good touch on the short stuff. Seems to be his strength. Does it a little better than Baker. But, Baker can make plays with his arm that Keemun just can’t pull off. Remember the pass Baker made to Landry his rookie year? No way does Keemun pull that off. Keemun looks like he would get picked off on big throws against a ball hawk type of of defense. Just my observations.

It seems pretty unlikely that Mayfield can play well while injured and finish the year. Better for him to have surgery now rather than put the first part of next year in jeopardy too.

since nobody said it, here is what should be said. 1. Kevin should have started Johnson in place of Chubb last Sunday instead of doubling Hunt's duties leading to his soft tissue injury. 2. We still don't know if the Browns defense is fixed at all because there was no deep threat from Broncos. 3. Case is as good as one-armed Baker. 4. How is Woods going to get Ronnie and company to play their responsibilities correctly and consistently going forward. 5. The Steelers suck, so we better mash them up.

Doug yelling all summer into Week4 that browns are at very worst are 13-4. They look like & feel like 16-1 or 15-2 team. Then give negative remarks on Ravens. That was brownies delusion. What we saw was an aging journeyman QB with a dead arm could step in and replace Baker Mayfield. The Browns did very little on offense that they haven't done all season. Keenum "got the job done". This is what Baker does on a regular basis but to win a super bowl they need more and they sure don't need to pay pro bowl QB salary to keep a guy who gets the job done.

I enjoyed Casey Keenum out there. I enjoyed watching this game. He was a breath of fresh air. Looked better then Baker has surely been looking lately. Hope he is in for the rest of the year and the Browns draft another Quarterback to compete with Baker. Baker is not the answer to getting the Browns to the Super Bowl. I am totally convinced now. Baker would be a good backup Quarterback though. I really liked seeing what I saw coming from both Johnson and Felton. I think we have another 1-2 punch there with these backs.

Typical fair weather Browns fan. My favorite player is always the next QB. Baker's the best quarterback we've had since Bernie Kosar and and likely will be better. We should be 6-1 but because our defense is trash at the moment we're 4-3 I give them a pass on the Chiefs game cause if not for only the 4th fumble of Chubb's career and a botched punt we win. Chargers game scoring 42 should be enough. The Baker haters are unreal!!!

@@CoffeeBreakSomewhere Fair Weather? I have been routing for the Browns since the 50’s. Back then when they were their best other NFL teams feared playing the Browns. Baker is good but not good enough to win the big game. I have no hate for him. Other Quarterbacks would love to have all the weapons Baker has around him. Problem with Baker he has a problem getting the ball to his weapons. He is lucky to have Hunt and Chubb around him doing all the work. Browns need to draft another Quarterback to compete with Baker. May the best man win. He is not worth overpaying.

@@CoffeeBreakSomewhere Everyday people compete with others. You compete when you go to grammar school and high school for grades. Baker needs to compete also if he wants the job. There is nothing wrong with drafting another quarterback to compete with Baker. Tom Brady was found in the 6th round and took the job away from Bledsoe. Why settle if someone may give the Browns a better chance to get to the Super Bowl. You must forget the Browns have never been to a Super Bowl. I don’t think Baker is the guy to get them there. I could be wrong but doubt it. Many announcers out there seem to agree with me all based on what we have seen from Baker. Why over pay Baker and lose some good players to find enough money to pay out to Baker? I want to see more from Case. Let Baker heal up in the meantime.
